Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC

close to thread 747!
Without warning seems a bit drastic-- especially if this is their last album signed to Warp. I have no doubt Warp will want to promote it and milk any hype they can, so I think "out-of-the-blue" is a bit out of the question... I'm sure we'll have some form of knowledge prior to the release, though I agree that another ARG is overkill and likely doesn't pertain to the "theme" of the next album.mthrndr wrote:The more I think about it, the more I think they may drop the next album without warning. I don't know, in the 2013 interviews it seemed very clear that the "game" they and warp devised was specific to TH and there's no indication that they would ever do that again. I'm sure Warp will want a complex launch to drive hype but my gut says they're just going to drop it out of the blue.
No blue dots for me. I'm 99% certain it's a bug.WaitingFor_22 wrote:Yesterday night I saw the blue dot again on both AtalantaFugiens and Hell Interface channels. I was on board with it being a youtube bug, but why doesn't it appear on the main channel or even the tarekeys channel (the one where they uploaded the csch video)? I think there really could be some activity going on in there
I've seen many people mention this 'last album for Warp' business. Is there a source for this? I'm not disputing it, I'm simply curious to know how the info became public knowledge?raybshot wrote:Without warning seems a bit drastic-- especially if this is their last album signed to Warp.
imagine this "illusion" revealed a clue to an album announcement that has been up on a webpage since like 2017 that we were supposed to find back then but never did. imagine they've been trying to release something since then but we've just been too daft to notice the clues. Yeah, this edit originally appeared on an ATP CD called ATP 1.0 (i think) that contained the soundboard recording for In a Beautiful Place, as well as other live preformances from the same lineupdebugDolores wrote:

It's a nice known edit indeed. The footage however is new to me and looks amazing! Guess the creator of this is a creative bloke for sure!debugDolores wrote:

I think that's bakedsodium's channel. If you notice at there's a timelapse of snow melting in a wooded area with a silhouette man from "Protect and Survive". There were photos of the same thing on the old website with the filenames "boc_beautifulfreeze" and "boc_beautifulthaw", so there's a good chance it's from a music video they made for the song.debugDolores wrote:

Someone pointed out last time this came up that this couldn't be the soundboard recording because the CD came out before the actual event. That makes sense as it's more of a promotional compilation rather than a collection of live recordings from the festival. However, it is apparently the same version of the track. So maybe they just played this version with some live mixing? I haven't listened to them both carefully enough to notice the difference.funnnnpng wrote:Yeah, this edit originally appeared on an ATP CD called ATP 1.0 (i think) that contained the soundboard recording for In a Beautiful Place, as well as other live preformances from the same lineupdebugDolores wrote:

huh, i didn't know that ... Yeah so I assume that recording on the cd was just from a live rehearsal they did, and they just did a similar mix of the track.niknak wrote:Someone pointed out last time this came up that this couldn't be the soundboard recording because the CD came out before the actual event. Discogs actually points that it was recorded at Hexagon Sun Studios.niknak wrote: Someone pointed out last time this came up that this couldn't be the soundboard recording because the CD came out before the actual event. I'm the one who found out that the timelapse is from a 1996 BBC documentary called "The Restless Year". I posted it on a boc discord server a while ago.

Listen to to DP "Motherboard". Listen to BOC's Recah for the dead. This post sounds like it was written "during the the trip" lol. What substance, and can I have some?arvy wrote:
