"The subtsance " is what we are searching for. It pains me, that, what I "use" , is gone now. The nostalgy..., how is to be and not be...mthrndr wrote:This post sounds like it was written "during the the trip" lol. What substance, and can I have some?arvy wrote:
Even if someone, don't wanti to give credit to Daft Punk. I wish, BOC, would deliver trat "after the the trip" combination. If you really want it, heh, who's better. BOC or Daft Punk? Listen to to DP "Motherboard". Listen to BOC's Recah for the dead. Who is next?
Can not explain the direction, but listen to your inner child laugh.Echelon wrote:Oh man, I never heard that edit of Beautiful Place before. There's a brand new synth line on there on par with BOC's best. What a treat since I thought I heard everything there was to hear in the BOC catalog
PS: I think the Daft Punk thing was mentioned by Arvy because of my avatar. Though I cannot explain the direction of his post, perhaps he can clarify!
Crazy talk.kashmir23 wrote:Any news whatsoever on new releases?
Excuse me, but we don't do that here...kashmir23 wrote:Any news whatsoever on new releases?

There was someone in the comments of one of the R35TT videos who named all of the tracks. I don't remember if any of them were "Decimal," but they could've been.mthrndr wrote:Has R35tt track B11 ever been called "decimal" before?
Edit - just a fan remaster
I've been on a Daft Punk binge (hence the avatar and such) and their final album has a lot of BOC-ish moments on it. What's funny is in between the Pharrell funk and the sad robo-ballads, there's some really ballsy creative stuff that reminds me of when BOC use their acid-influenced approach. The Giorgio tribute, the track Motherboard and especially the Poppy Seed like synth lines on Touch are all stuff few electronic people could think of and execute so brilliantly. Very much reminds me of BOC at their best, simply more theatrical.Moloch wrote:It's annoying waiting for that album so I'm hearing more and more BOC in the music I listen to.
Call it Stockholm syndrome if you will but soon any Noise album will be like a new BOC album to me.
Haha sorry, my friend. Simply appreciating one of the best electronic talents alongside BOC. I'm honestly surprised Warp never tried to snatch them up XDMoloch wrote:Man all of your points are valid but I'm still grieving DP. Please don't do this to me.

Speaking of weird stuff, why is Mexicola's status https://www.twoism.org/forum/memberlist.php?mode=group banned? Is this a known bug thing? Sorry for derailing the thread a bitportiss wrote: Weird stuff is hapenning.
