Not sure if anybody else here has the Korg Polysix synth, but a mod has just become available called the Polysex with a couple of really worthwhile features, like voice spread, and having the pitch follow an envelope.

I love my Polysix, but would be one of the first to admit it's can be frustratingly limited. This mod should change that and I have the kit on the way. I'll keep you guys informed on how it goes.

I was worried about defacing my beloved synth, but as the pics show, it can be quite tastefully done.

Only bought the Tomorrow's Harvest CD due to limited funds when it first was released, but yesterday while looking through records at my local bookstore that also sells records (Half price books for anyone here in Iowa), found the TH vinyl. my first vinyl and I'm very excited. It was a good day.

My lord, that looks and sounds like a sweet mod! Big fan of the Polysix as well, but yes it can be very limited

Nothing wrong with that. I could care less what anyone uses to make their music, as long as they keep making it.

Someone could have all the synths in the world and not make a single decent track with them. Without a good imagination and talent for making good tracks, the tools you have are worthless.

True, though I'd still like to just flip a switch and be able to make music, not to wait for a computer to boot.

Not sure if it's a true purchase, but my main man Lens Largue is GIVING me his Yamaha CP-25! Big thanks to him for being so generous, I'm super excited.


In terms of actually buying stuff, just preorded the new Autechre EP. The BoC EP bundle is next. Will get the LPs when I have the funds. REALLY excited for all these vinyls right now.

Trying VERY hard not to treat myself to a Canon 5D mk3....

Just picked these up a few hours ago. Original pressings in near mint conditions!

Titles? Some of those could be quite interesting. Old books are really neat.

My most recent purchase was also from a thrift store - a pile of clothes including a children's frog hat which (oddly) fits me, a flannel shirt that's just a little too big but overall first OK, an astonishingly ugly satin shirt that looks like it came from Central 80s Fashion Hell, and a few other things.
