Where else can one find in that Sheol Boundary YT video the Red Moss jingle in really good quality like the one in the video at 5:44? That in itself is a red flag for being possibly a legit video if that high quality sample can't be found anywhere else.

I'm not hearing anything that sounds like it couldn't have just come from Red Moss itself, though I don't have a great ear for that.

Considering that the 5th panned out, when is the next speculative date? Is that it for pioneer 11?

To me it sounded significantly more hi-fidelity than the sounds in Red Moss, which is a BOC Maxima exclusive track and not available as anything other than casette rip as far as I know. The sound they used sounded like it came straight from a synth and it sounded like exactly the same instrument used in the song.
Kind of a clever way to subtly nod towards the video's authenticity, actually. And the fact that they replicated the notes you were playing exactly, including the minor mistakes, kind of seals the deal for me.
Also, I can see them taking notice of your video since you're discussing a kind of musical trick they've used a lot, and it's well known they pay attention to videos of their songs (the official BoC Video playlist is massive and includes many videos with hardly any views).
Looking at this, I think this is likely an alt BoC/Hell Interface channel. They dropped a crumb literally years ago and it's only really being picked up now thanks to the FB page profile picture.
Congrats on having your video parodied by BoC! Lol

You all know what this means, though- now we need to scour that video and form a list of all the samples used.

I'm really only focused on Record Store Day (12 June) as a date which makes any sense. If nothing happens then, my guess is any drop from the bros will be unpredictable.

Just watched both videos. Hilarious! And yes, that Red Moss logo sample did sound pretty darn clean. It would be so amazing if this is legit and they are just messing with us.
One more thing. I have been on the internet for a good long while and I have seen a lot of creepy shit in that time. For some reason that Whitney Houston demon pic gets under my skin!

Have you guys not learnt anything?
Just kidding
Just catching up though, looks interesting and hopefully something comes from it. Does leave me thinking why Hell Interface and now? Hopefully I didn't piss them off too much using the Hell Interface name last summer, haha. They must have had a good laugh at my message on twitter asking permission to do it.

> Why Hell Interface?
They've said in interviews that they make lots of music that doesn't fit under the BoC moniker... a lot of their earlier works (play by numbers, acid mem, even some stuff from old tunes and r35) doesn't really fit under the cleanliness/quality spectrum of modern BoC. They wouldn't be dropping a song like Trapped or Sequoia on Tomorrow's Harvest. So they could always take to other names to re-release some older material, a name like hell interface perhaps...
> Why now?
I honestly don't know, maybe it's just because these last 8-10 years we've been looking into their older material so much. Maybe they feel like this is a payoff for us, finally getting that boc-set, under the hell interface name of course.

Hell Interface now could be related to what we've all been through over the last year or so - let alone 2019 being a bit of a gong show, too - obviously nothing compared to 2020, but still...
Honestly if it ends up being a HI release, I would be just as thrilled, maybe moreso. I always think of their HI stuff as more darker, weirder, etc anyway - it would be exactly the perfect time to release the crazy.

I've done some more thinking. And I think we are overthinking it. My new logical conclusion is that the Hell Interface Facebook page is 100% legit. Let me tell you why. Check out this collage first.
From left to right: Hell Interface Facebook page profile picture (Aug 23rd 2011), Hell Interface Soundcloud profile, Hell Interface Bandcamp profile, and finally Hell Interface YouTube channel.
Yes, they all use the same profile picture. The one which first popped up on Aug 23, 2011.
Thing is BoC is pretty secure about name squatters and there have been issues before regarding their social media presence. Issues that have luckily been resolved.
I can tell you the bandcamp page is now in hands of HS.
This official account uses the same profile picture as on all the other social media pages. Let's also not forget that the YouTube Hell Interface channel is 100% proven to be legit. All this combined is pretty much conclusive proof, imo.
Say for instance the Hell Interface Facebook page is fake, why on earth would they choose the same profile picture then for their official Bandcamp page. They are not fond of name squatters and impersonators. That would make zero sense to add to the confusion.
Combine this information with what I've said previously about the Nuevas Semillas date alignment with the Facebook page creation date.
You do the maths.

That Sheol Boundary parody is *extremely* compelling. Just dropped into Neptuneful's comments with no fanfare; excellently done; just a few hundred views from interested people...let's just say if that was Mike or Marcus I would not be surprised at all.

New Seefeel reissues right now on May 14! Not sure if anything new from them, but it seems archival like the Stereolab stuff

That Parody vid is good ha. Great choices in the used samples and does allude to the culprit being in their 40s. The Bod Theme tune is not something that anyone under 40 would be aware of. Does not narrow it down to it being legit but it does rule out a huge number of fans.

You make some compelling points, but this is the most important one, for me. That page has been up and well recognized for a few days now (well, also for 10 years prior). It would have been removed by now if it was an impersonator.

Especially when you consider:
-It used the Whitney Houston zombie picture years before it appeared on the Hell Interface FB page
and
-It seems to include a sample of Red Moss, a BOC Maxima exclusive track, in substantially higher quality than is available on the casette rip, the only publicly available version.

The Sheol Boundary vid is a hoot! Playing what looks like a Kawai piano. Not a synth/sampler of any sort. Obviously dubbed, but brilliantly. (Kawai made synths in the 80s and 90s.)
