Yeah I highlighted that but was ignored. As I told they are communicating with us, what we don't know is if this is the start of a new promotion campaign, an invite to search for music which has been alteady rrleased on internet or just a signal about the fact they are alive and watching at us

They had a whole EP about the waco tragedy, I don't see why they would have a problem making light of Whitney Houston's passing

In a beautiful place out in the country was sympathetic towards the waco tragedy. Definitely not making light of it. But yeah, i think the whitney houston image is simply just an ironic reference to that hell interface fake remix that was circulating a while back. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you [generally speaking here] want to judge mike and mark's "character" simply from interviews and the music that they make - you won't be able to get anything of use. They're a lot more complicated than me, or you know. The whole "i'm a recluse who lives in the woods and doesn't release anything" personality that has been attached to the brothers is exaggerated to hell. Let them have a bit of fun.

I’m not entirely sure the lot of you understand that none of you know personnaly Marcus and Mike. And even with the interviews about them, we don't know much about there personnality, their humour, etc.

If you'll recall I didn't actually say "their sense of humor", I said "the sense of humor found in their music" e.g. tracks like Light Clear Hair, Iraq Says, and Blockbusters. I still think the types of jokes in the "Uuh" video are very similar to the types of jokes in BoC's few dedicated comedy tracks.

I am aware of the supposed existence of a Hell Interface Whitney Huston remix, why is this relevant again?

On 30 September 2013, a video was posted in the comments of the Neptuneful youtube channel that parodied his video explaining one of BoC's chord motifs. That video was by an account called Sheol Boundary. Neptuneful never thought much of it but did comment on it here at twoism back in 2013. The Sheol Boundary account had a modified, inverted-color Whitney Houston image as its profile pic. The parody video was quite well done, mimicking the original video exactly including wrong notes, and appears to use a sample of the Red Moss synth that would be really hard to recreate unless you had the exact patch.


Recently (several pages ago in this thread) it was discovered that the Pioneer blue Hexagon banner posted to the HI bandcamp account, which has been used by official BoC accounts including HI youtube page, had the creation date of 30 September 2013. Fredd-E, curator of the Bocpages, confirms that that the bandcamp account is an official BoC account. It seems highly unlikely that this image and the Sheol video would have the exact same create date if they were unrelated (although not impossible).

Then last week, the HI facebook page, until recently unconfirmed to be official BoC, posted some new material, including a weird video of the raiders of the lost ark nazi face melting, singing James Brown's "I feel good", and a true color image of the exact Whitney Houston profile pic from the Sheol Boundary account. It has since blacked out both the profile pic and the video.

Assuming Fredd-E is correct that the HI bandcamp is legit, the above links together Sheol Boundary, Hell Interface Bandcamp, and Hell Interface facebook, and makes it highly likely that the brothers are pulling off some mischief.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I was originally skeptical about the Facebook activity but now I'm pretty convinced that at least Hexagon Sun is behind this, and it seems very discordian to me.

Another item I thought of is that the page https://www.facebook.com/Hell-Interface ... 955414202/ appears to be the last one standing. There is a https://www.facebook.com/HellInterface that was, as of early last week, some random guy's page. It has now gone totally private, which makes the prior page the only one related to the band?

The wikipedia is likely a coincidence, someone with the same name, if I had to guess. As for the FB page itself, I'm sure anyone could draw a conclusion that it's some super secret proxy account if they looked far enough into it-- but it's likely unrelated to the brothers. The nazi memes for instance seem a bit out of character, and not to mention they'd have to keep up with internet humor (God forbid )...

Yeah, I think facebook.com/HellInterface is unaffiliated, and "Marcel Delgado" was either asked to Private the page or did it himself due to unwanted attention. Again, what's interesting to me is the other Hell Interface page is still up and also blacked out - which is what the brothers seem to do with pages that aren't ready for prime time. That tells me that it's probably the real deal.

You can get any nickname URL you want in Facebook (same format as that hell interface one) as long as it's not been already taken, and you can lose it if someone reports you for any reason including impersonation.

We know that boards have taken over pages before, they did it with the BoC bandcamp which someone here set up iirc.

Gonna put money on the idea someone grabbed the HellInterface name and nobody either knew or cared until they started doing posting stuff that was getting attention, after which it got taken over and blanked

It's also been said a million times, but worth repeating that MDG usually chimes in if something goes on long enough that is a hoax or impersonation. Almost all of his communication on this forum after the release on TH was to shoot down hoaxes or tell us that HS didn't know anything about some supposed discovery. So I'd expect the same here (with the caveat that he hasn't posted anything since 2015, so maybe the policy has changed to just not communicate at all?)
