This is my list of biggest issues that I just sent back to Bleep:
1. Saying that US orders will originate from the US USUALLY implies Canada as well. I wish I had known it would originate from the UK and the shipping class to expect...
2. For countries outside the US/EU - can it please be stated clearly what our wait times are? Saying "we will get them as close to release day as we can" is kind of like false hope. Unless you are allowing appropriate timing, that statement is misleading.
3. For countries outside the US/EU - what other options for shipping can you investigate? How are companies able to ship worldwide in days, with decent shipping costs, without running into these same kinds of delays?
4. Billing my credit card - I was shocked to see the money come off my credit card days after my preorder was submitted, and NOT on the day it was shipped - each company has their own process I suppose, but taking the money in April/First of May for something that isn't shipping until June seemed early.
I would like to state this, however: I do appreciate the crazy amount of work that would go into something like this from a distribution stand point. As a company though you are ultimately the ones responsible. I can't go to Canada Post and complain that my order took 28 days to get to me, because there isn't anything they can do. I would suggest making the delivery company responsible, and overseas shipping - handled by one entity - is the way to go in my opinion.

Seriously though, how the fuck do they manage that?
Oh my god. I really hope I get one of these. I won't even be mad.

That's actually awesome when you consider the value. He could sell that now for hundreds.

Well said. I'm glad to know Bleep will fully understand how bad they messed this up. I'd just like to get that poster I'll eventually end up paying like $40 for, I'd be able to forgive them. This album was a big deal, you know...

Looks like I'll be appreciating the used, decaying quality of my vinyl when it comes because USPS "mis-shipped" it to a different address, probably laying it out in the hot baking Florida sun.
I wonder if even contacting Bleep about this issue will even get me any sympathy. The album should come today and I'll be quick about picking it up off my doorstep.

My Beat Records CD from Japan got here a few days ago, still no sign of my pre-order from Bleep. (Ireland)
Maybe they'll take a page from Rephlex's book and send us some original Hooper Bay tapes as compensation
In January 2005 Rephlex mailed out black vinyl/binder editions of "Analord 10". Due to problems at the manufacturing/mail out stage, approximately 20 buyers did not receive their package. Rephlex mailed out a second batch in June 2005 to those who had not received their order. This second batch included a free copy of "Analogue Bubblebath 5". This distribution of "Analogue Bubblebath 5" was unannounced.

This and other similar anecdotes are enough to suggest it is not an issue with the worlwide postal service.

Same here, especially as the t-shirt I ordered is now out of stock. Absolutely hopeless.

Yeah, the royal mail I usually find to be really reliable. I think this is a mistake that Bleep have made and are just saying that it's out of there hands.

Still nothing here - saying that I contacted Bleep regarding a replacement etc and they responded very quickly and could not have been nicer.
Fingers crossed...
