On first listen it seems, unfortunately, that the most moving tracks were the 3 from the videos mush posted. :|

Never really enjoyed Bibio up to now, but after weeks of ignoring this thread I figured "If you can't beat em join em" and checked out the preview tracks. Fan-friggin-tastic!

I JUST WANT TO BUY THE BLOODY CD NOW! Arrgh!
man, i know! I'd really like to hear this album but the stream just wont work. Also, when the hell will the 2xlp be up for sale?

also, has anyone given a date on the EP that is coming out? I'm way out of the loop when it comes to Bibio, sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere.

Is the cd actually on sale yet? I'm getting conflicting info. Some places say it is, others seem to think it's not on sale until next week. I now the downloads are available but I'd prefer the cd. Anyone?

the track, Thatched, is fewking astounding..

the synthesizer @ 0.46 kills me completely, I drift off to an ocean of nostalgia when it plays for a couple of seconds.

Great are The Piths is such a weird track. Sounds like something they would play in a church these days, It seems to stick in my head though. Im really in love with Flesh Sots, Pip Sown.

Got the CD from Juno. Only took a couple of days to arrive, even with all the snow round here.

Not really doing anything for me. At all.
=\

Maybe a few more listens? It just sounds like same old predictable Bibio to me, with a few changes here and there.

It's pretty obvious for those that have the hardcopy album, but I thought this was interesting...in the liner notes, part of the lyrics from "Mr. and Mrs. Compost" describes the album cover:

"A story tells me that there is a couple there, buried 'neath the twisted roots, older than the tree itself, older than the ruined farm...side by side and holding hands, and that's the reason why that tree is beautiful."

I was reading the lyrics while listening to it, and I cried. Sad but beautiful.
