Just read the BoC section in Uncut... really nothing we don't already know about. Very vague review of the album and some incorrect facts about the RSD 12"s, certainly wasn't worth paying £4.80!

It's great track, any idea who the creator is? I remember listening to a whole spate of fake Campfire Headphase tracks back in the day, some of which were excellent.

just popped into town on my lunchbreak and leafed through Uncut. As above, not much really, some hints at what the album might be like but nothing solid. 3/4 of a page article with no comments / interview from BoC

For those of you asking about the Uncut piece- it's here in it's entirety. Someone also scanned the actual article- page 79 of this thread.

hello everyone.
just chiming in to say how much i too am looking forward to the new release. BOC fan since late 90's ... they even helped me get my job about 10 years ago (i used their music as the soundtrack in an underwater video - it got me the gig. thanks Sandison brothers!).

i also put together something of a fan video as i happen to be editing some footage i recently shot in the south pacific for a different project but couldn't stop listening to the 'cosecha transmission' audio track for inspiration. i dropped it into the timeline and enjoyed the nexus of two surreal worlds coming together - that of the undersea world and the sonic world of BOC.

its by no means a good video - more atmospheric than anything. its more of a peek into my world as the sounds of BOC run through my mind when i am down there. feels like i am in a sci-fi movie or freaky acid trip lasting a responsible 45-60 minutes depending on depth and cylinder size. :)

anyway - enjoy and thanks for a great forum.

Regarding not being able to access bleep Dashboard. I've received this from the support team:

TE, May 23 15:11 (BST):

Hi there

This was a temporary problem with our site and has now been fixed. This should all be working normally again now. Please let us know if not though.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bleep Support

But I still can't access it and can't even log in at all now. Still getting the https://bleep.com/account/index Server error: This isn't super awesome page. Even when I try to log on now too.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Nice. That really struck a chord for me because I have a ton of video footage from Micronesia that I have been sitting on and it never ocurred to me to set it to some BoC. I might have to borrow this idea. :-) The only problem is that now I *really* want to pick up and go somewhere tropical and dive now...

Yes, done everything I can to remedy the issue. Pretty frustrating really, I don't want to miss a thing.
I've emailed them again.

I want to make it clear that I am in no way being patronizing, but could you explain to me why you actually dig music like this? I think it is fascinating that someone can find enjoyment in this kind of music, truthfully.
Hey, I didn't want to clog up this thread with my answer, but I made a thread here :)

Anyway. Tomorrow's Harvest man, woo! Am I right?

thanks herxagernsurn. i wasn't too far from you in Micronesia - this was all shot in marine preserves in Samoa. there is almost zero diving where i was so it was pristine.

up til now almost every time i descend to the bottom i hear "Ready Lets Go" ... looks like that might change with this lovely bit of new sound. that long underlying bass tone reminds me of the sound of an old WWII bomber flying over at a distance and altitude. i'm probably remembering it from an old Russian war film. either way - i cant wait to hear more.
