Funny to me how when something is mentioned days prior, a clue or troll pops up right behind. e.g. Sundown mention from mods on Reddit then the slowed down fan video on BoC fb, Heard From Telegraph Lines mentioned from Fredd-E then a fan video once again on their fb. Can’t forget tonxism mentioning the pronunciation of closes the night before the supposed “prank” post of the liner notes. Now this. Someone just mentioned the 15 year anniversary to Dayvan Cowboy being released yesterday (August 18, 2006) now this TCHep ordeal. Hm.

Why do TCH cassettes matter anyway? How about someone manufactures a case full of the fifth album or the BOCset instead XD

My guess is either a troll from the bros or some shitty person, or the fact it matters in a big way considering there is nothing officially released by them via cassette. I’d snag in a heartbeat.

nah, didn't think you were in on any hoax. I just wanted to mention how strange it is that these things just seem to follow one another. Looks like this one was cleared up though. I was half asleep and saw the post but it was deleted then all the fuss got me intrigued.

me here, i finally have the chance to speak about it

i designed the j-card and even then, it's noticeable from miles that it's fake

- style of the spine completely different to the CD / LP
- no catalogue number anywhere on the outside
- no contact information anywhere on the outside
- barcode doesn't make any sense and leads to a completely different release
- the Music70 logo is green. the logo is never used in other colors other than white.
- the logo isn't even made with the real font, I remade it with Helvetica Rounded and the font for the original is custom.

but i'll try harder next time if I do another one, you're not gonna even notice it's a boobleg >:)

love the yellow case and the esp. the green cassettes, never seen anything like that

To give more detail:

I saw some green cassettes with yellow tape leader on some website while I was buying cassette blanks for some other compilations.

And at the same time Sdoww was making these beautiful J-card so I put 2 and 2 together. TCH J-car .... Green cassette + Yellow Tape leader ... Really couldn't resist the idea.

So 300$ later we're here with a box of 10 beautiful cassettes that came out much better than expected. And since I got Tonx salty the other day with my horribly crafted fake Hooper bay snippet then I felt like trolling some more by posting the bootlegs on reddit claiming they were fake hee hee.

But as all troll that I do I really cannot lie for more than an hour or two. Doesn't feel right.
