lol ^ (EDIT: <)
If u're interested, i made an audio file with the first notes from both EYDIAB and the csch audio file. i think it will be clear why people thought of EYDIAB:Magrathea wrote:thepastinsidepressant wrote:i kept saying this first off, whoever said its like EYDIAB, get your ears cleaned. theres no connection with that track and that EYDIAB vid on youtube, those flash 'ONE GOT FAT'... thats all fake, that appeared when the hoaxer figured it sounded like it.
Surely you jest... compare the first few notes of EYDIAB (I just checked on Hi Scores) and the signal with the numbers, the affiliation is quite clear even if YES it is NOT identical, it's pretty close, close enough to instill the need to find that track/video and check it.
Wow, this is disturbing and mesmerising in equal measure.re-phaelam-ed wrote:
Yes... To say it is the same would of course be wrong. But most folks who have mentioned this have simply remarked at a similarity, which I feel is a perfectly fair comment.Magrathea wrote:thepastinsidepressant wrote:i kept saying this first off, whoever said its like EYDIAB, get your ears cleaned. theres no connection with that track and that EYDIAB vid on youtube, those flash 'ONE GOT FAT'... thats all fake, that appeared when the hoaxer figured it sounded like it.

Sorry, but you've entirely misunderstood.thepastinsidepressant wrote:theres no connection with that track and that EYDIAB vid on youtube, those flash 'ONE GOT FAT'... thats all fake, that appeared when the hoaxer figured it sounded like it.
i do get and fully understand how people feel its sounds like it, the vibe etc, but thats just 'one' note.ZosoCon wrote:If u're interested, i made an audio file with the first notes from both EYDIAB and the csch audio file. i think it will be clear why people thought of EYDIAB:
IF it came on Adult Swim it would likely be in the bump before of after a break in programming, IMO.Keeoaddi wrote:do you reckon it will be on live tv? or in an ad break or something?
Ad time is notoriously expensive, easier to just have someone from the comm group slip something on air, or have participation from the actual channel. on both NPR and BBC it was on air and I would expect the same from something on TV. Not sure how they could weave it in without freaking part of the populace butKeeoaddi wrote:do you reckon it will be on live tv? or in an ad break or something?
The mood of it is very similar to the intro of EYDIAB, there was a lot of people commenting that it was the same tune on Bocpages Facebook, which was a bit annoying. Also, I can see what you mean about Close Encounters, just a bit, but not a whole lot to be honest.thepastinsidepressant wrote:i do get and fully understand how people feel its sounds like it, the vibe etc, but thats just 'one' note.ZosoCon wrote:If u're interested, i made an audio file with the first notes from both EYDIAB and the csch audio file. i think it will be clear why people thought of EYDIAB:
we're talking the full 5 notes here and thats closer to close encounters inc. the concept of the film.
Yeah, it's somewhat expensive but not that much for just one ad, especially like 20 seconds. It's not free though, like getting a radio producer on side.Magrathea wrote:Ad time is notoriously expensive, easier to just have someone from the comm group slip something on air, or have participation from the actual channel. on both NPR and BBC it was on air and I would expect the same from something on TV. I thought something would happen to do with Trails today. Because yesterday on BBC, the DJ was really pushing the word trails in a very obvious way. Like all the time too.Helios wrote:So still nothing today, eh?

I looked on the twoism forum for the first time to guage the levels of hysteria and there are some people there who think that there will be a BoC transmission saying six numbers on the advert breaks between The 10 O'Clock Show on Channel 4 tonight despite having no evidence that it will happen. They want to believe and they're all going to watch it.
you wanna know whats pathetic? the fact that there is some sort of "beef" between the two forums...where did this come from, how did it start?vanlorne wrote:recently on WATMM:

Not sure what started it. I watch the forums over there too just so I can stay up to date with everything. A lot of people there just want to debunk everything, seems likeDistant Nebulus wrote:you wanna know whats pathetic? the fact that there is some sort of "beef" between the two forums...where did this come from, how did it start?vanlorne wrote:recently on WATMM:
