I feel exiled from the spirituality thread because I've grown to despise organized religion and have rejected the concept of "God as punisher". I'm going all in against pascal's wager. Brave, huh?
But I don't want to poop on their parade and I don't want to judge people on the basis of their religion. So I'll post this here.
I think boc are spiritual in the sense that they tap into sonic powers way beyond this mortal coil (successfully I might add). They seem to reject the inherently segregated nature of religion, none of them are correct (or all of them?). But some rituals, symbols and names could be useful. Judaism might be onto something with mapping reality with kabalah. Hinduism might be onto something with chakra. Pentecostalism might be onto something with evoking a spirit to take control of your body. Not these examples specifically, as this is just what a silly person like me thinks up off the top of his head, but I feel like boc as a band is definitely looking for spirit-rabbitholes like this. At the very least as part of their art practice (if they reject seeing it as religious/anti-religious practice). This is all over Inferno, as the spirituality on it is intertwined and/or juxtaposed. Oh interesting, searching the web about this apparently this is called "syncretism". That's a good word to describe inferno at least.
This mostly what satanism is: reject all religious dogma, and unlock your own inner knowledge. Who knows, maybe we could become Gods ourselves, creating our own worlds with lighting magick (which is what I'm doing making video games).
It's up to each person to find their own path and learn about their mind and souls, what symbols and rituals -click-. Spirituality is a buffet, not a prison meal for those imprisoned by the indoctrination of their religious leaders. It becomes a lot more difficult to train my soul and free my mind if I am convinced that "I am saved. God will provide.". And sorry but I get kind of pissy thinking about the damage religious institutions are doing (and have been doing for millennia) poisoning our very souls with hogwash and fairy tales and keeping us back from unlocking our minds and achieving our true destiny as Gods!
(I wish 18 year old indoctrinated me could see this, I'd die. And if you do: hey me, please buy a Yamaha QY-70!)

Wow really well put. I love syncretism. It's cool to see people come to similar conclusions!

What's so bad about being satanic anyway. At least they don't use their religion as an excuse to murder a whole people off the face of the earth, or burn women after putting on kangaroo courts to claim they are witches or something.

'Spirituality is a buffet, not a prison meal'.
That needs to be framed. Bravo.

Cupz, I would just like to say that you are all the more welcome to be apart of the conversation in the other thread. There could be no exile (except for those that choose to shame, guilt and doubt), and your words were exactly the dialogue that is sought after. You have beautifully described why people are drawn to faith, spirituality and religion as a whole (organized or not). I find it irresponsible as a divine-made creature not to explore the other perspectives that our Divine Source has allowed, no matter where you align yourself. not to mention that we are the drops of blood of and from that Divine Source. Secret consciousness, eh? That is why some people go to church, they don’t go for the tribe, fuck that. They go because the part of the source that lies within us deserves to be worshipped, praised, and confided into just as much as the source does.
Love you brother. As always thank you for sticking to your fuckin guns. Can’t wait to see more Desert Eagles from you
