This year was a bust. But out of the slim pickings I want to point out that Seefeel, one of the most reclusive groups on the Warp label, released an enormous boxset/reissue campaign last year. Seefeel, a heavily influential drone-y group with very few albums got tons of outtakes released alongside their classic reissues. They were a band that had a very scare catalog before the floodgates opened and now we have tons of stuff that fans never thought they'd have.

Dry run for BOC next year?

Let's also not forget we got a new remix from the bros this year, the Treat Em Right remix has grown on me immensely since its release, what an amazing tune, it's such a joy to have this new track!

It's soooo good. The first time I listened to it, I had a slight temperature but it truly became my jam of the summer. And it convinced my purist ears that BOC would sound hella good producing a rap album.

THS = Turquoise Hexagon Sun
AO = Alpha & Omega
CAN = Canada
...but I do reckon the cat numbers were made up to add further confusion.

I don't think THS could mean Turquoise Hexagon Sun. Pretty certain in 1994, only Orange Hexagon Sun, the predecessor existed. Hi Scores seems like a collection of all the best outtakes from 1994-1996 but remixed.

Also interesting: This BM CD electricluddite has implies MHTRTC was in the works all the way back in 1996. This most likely means Chinook, Concourse, Niagara, etc. are all outtakes.

This isn't fake, that's absolutely Marcus' handwriting.

Chinook isn't an outtake, it was released as the b-side of the Aquarius single. And yeah, I'd assume MHTRTC is a 'best-of' comp of all their work dating from 1994 to 1998. (The Color of the Fire confirmed being from 1994, Smokes Quantity originally being from 1995, etc.)

"The Color of the Fire" --> "I Love U" from Old Tunes. I thought Old Tunes was released in 1994. I meant 1996, sorry.
Although it still could've been recorded earlier. I'm just guessing.

For me personally, I'm pretty sure R35TT is from 1993. It seems to have incomplete PBN tracks, etc. while having complete CV1 tracks.
