It is official as far as I know, late last year when the BoC Twitter sent out a tweet that included a fanmade come to dust video, the Instagram account posted the same.

No, it's definitely legit. It's followed by Peter Iain Campbell from Hexagon Sun, and it's also linked on their Bandcamp.

unconfirmed sure, but logically it was him. He followed an account that posted underground music, one of which was the Filmmaker song used in SXT. Of course the video of that song was posted prior to SXT. I believe there was another song on that channel that was also used in SXT, but I can’t remember for certain. Why would some random fake follow that account, then once this was brought to light, completely private it. -And if that wasn’t enough PIC followed it. It was legit in my eyes. Not that that changes anything, I currently don’t think there is any way to predict the next release with any accuracy at the moment. Fingers crossed for something soon.

Man, I can't wait for the new Boards of Canada album. I hope it comes out soon. That would make me very happy.

Yeah I'm still hoping for a 2022 release. Maybe we'll get some kinda noise from BoC in the upcoming months?
