Yesterday the long lost debut Godspeed You! Black Emperor album was leaked on 4chan, a cassette released in 1994 and limited to 33 copies. It was either this or acid memories for 'lost album I want to hear most', so that's at least nice. Makes me feel a little optimistic we'll hear something from the back catalog eventually

Just like with "All Lights Fucked On The Hairy Amp Drooling", the BOC tapes will also make their way onto the net someday. And even though it's been ages, I still believe those comments by MDG about an official archive release. In a perfect world, we then would have both the original and remastered versions of those old tracks. At the end of the day, it's all speculation but these sort of news about unthinkable findings also make me optimistic. The internet is really cool sometimes.

Since TH pretty much forecast that whole C19 pandemic and is now more relevant than ever before, what if the brothers wanted to wait until the dust settles and the pandemic is over before moving onto sth else (a new album)?

I kind of like this fake tape. Low quality and with some reverb filter over top of it. Reminds me of some late 1990's mysterious internet download...Recognize most of the tunes but a couple i don't. Don't recognize the one at 39:07 but it sounds good...
