And since then 8 pages have been added to this topic, all in the space of two days. I'm very confused as to why this gained so much attention.

The only thing that gets my goat/grinds my gears is that this was engineered right before supposed BOC activity in May. Very reminiscent of 2005 where people made tracks of the unreleased BOC album as soon as the titles appeared.

But all in all, it's truly up to BOC to decide how they feel about people making fakes/hoaxes and not someone like me. They've certainly told us how they feel in interviews and the green screen failure and that's good enough for me.

Other than forum drama, though, this is pretty harmless overall and at least gives us something to do til May. But that's the last I'm going to speak of it after this post.
I'd rather get back to hoping that something after nine years is finally dawning and basking in the prospect of some new music. Can you imagine how wonderful that would be?

I'd rather focus on that instead. As BOC told us, We Love You All and I'm going to believe them.

I have a fear in my speculation of any potential new album, and it's that there will be no concept behind it. It will be several tracks that each stand on their own. For some reason, I don't like that idea.

I would much rather have a concept album, maybe several discs, with incredibly detailed artwork and symbology within said artwork, and a cool and weird and creepy book to accompany it.

I'm immediately reminded of the cool little book that came with my Teddy Ruxpin doll as a kid. It had a badass map in the front cover. Fucking amazing thing to look at.

The only BoC fake I have ever heard that I haven't been able to make my mind up on is Visual Drone 12.

This is the only potential fake I can't confidentiality say is fake or real. The only other two I guess I'm undecided on are the two Adult Swim bumpers and the track near the end of SxT.


These are the only things I have ever heard that I could potentially believe are BoC. As for the recent VHS thing, there is plenty of evidence to prove its fake, the track titles are ridiculous, the story doesn't add up, the person who first posted it makes music very similar to this, among other things.

Anyway, that's the last I'm gonna talk about BoC fakes in this thread, back to speculation.

I don’t think any amount mis-attributing shitty fakes to BoC is going to neg them into rereleasing their old material, if that’s what all this nonsense is about.

I'm convinced that SxT track is old Boards. Pretty sure the "feels good" AS bumper is them too, but less convinced than the SxT which is directly tied to them.

It would be a God-tier mindfuck if the boys quietly did a run of fresh copies of the out-of-print releases and arranged to have individual copies distributed to thrift stores across the globe. April 1 is right around the corner. . .

but i cant stop thinking about the possibility that boc has already finished the album, and that warp is holding out its release until 2023, so they can have a boring "boc returns after 10 years!!!!!" promotional campaign

I speculate that BOC will have more than just a new album to share when they release the next one.
I speculate there will be much more press, actual filmed interviews, answers to some of the fans' biggest questions, footage never before seen, and a more interactive relationship with their audience..... Plus a live gig (recording will not just be allowed but the whole thing will be part of a DVD release).

I admire your optimism, especially considering that up to this point we've never even heard their speaking voices outside about 2 minutes of the John Peel interview where you can't even tell for certain which brother is which lmao

Yeah, I'd love to be proven wrong, but I think it'll be a cold day in hell before they play live again or do any filmed interviews. I'm expecting an album drop with little press.
