A new Caves track. No percussion, just synth.

Had a quick listen to the caves - spectacle album on your bandcamp page. Really liked above tampura. Loved the chord changes . Listened to a few others but that was my favourite. The chords in jade and blossoms above the water are very reminiscent of 808 states " pacific " ......very balaeric.

Would appreciate the benefit of the aural landscape as heard by other ears

Any Feedback returned.
Thanks
Very good work...im getting a Mouse on Mars vibe from this (go figure). I'll follow you but I'm hesitant to be the one to ruin your 666 followers.

Im familar with mouse on mars but havent heard them since maybe the early 90s. I liked what i heard back then but i've not listened since , due to chasing down so much other stuff.
Thanks for listening

Here's a new piece of music I created over the weekend. Kind of cinematic/ambient (with beats). It's the longest track I've written yet likely because of all the bvdub I've been listening to. My first integration of lots of Omnisphere patches and my acoustic guitar -

That's a lovely piece Bryan, very sombre, delicately handled. Nice work.

You know, I've never actually listened to 808 State before. I'm listening to that song now, and wow... I don't know why I've not yet given them a listen. It reminds me a lot of Lone, who is actually a major influence on my electronic stuff. Anyway, I appreciate the kind words from the both of you!

I like this. feels like it occupies a similar headspace that I've been mining recently.

Real nice gentle piece. Really love the initial pad sound and the chord sequence is nice. Each additional layer helps the track to build yet it remains a smooth delicate piece. Lovely.

Cool. Very minimalist and the vocal sample works well, in a Burial kind of style. Evocative!

Nice, repetetive piece, with a lovely atmospheric texture throughout. Good work.

Really like 'Saturate Sakura' - you've got a unique style there. At first blush I thought the drums were a bit high in the mix but letting the track play through I enjoyed the ebbs and flows of everything beneath.

I like the bouncy, playful feel of this! Also the way it grows more and more diffuse by the end.

The bassline gives off a very 'sneaky' vibe to me. I like the ethnic touches and the rolling feel of the percussion. Great atmosphere.

Some sad/spacey guitar music.
