I have strong doubts that this stargate zine feature will contain any new interviews with the band, let alone information about new releases. Considering they're a small-time zine and BoC are featured second on their 'line-up', I predict it'll be a case-study style feature about their work in general with no input from the band themselves or a re-used interview of sorts. It seems that stargate zine has previously re-used interviews with artists from other sources in the past so this doesn't seem far-fetched. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, though.

P.S, A small-time zine using BoC's name as a marketing ploy for their zine doesn't seem far-fetched either. Especially if we end up with a recycled interview.

BoC have said in the past they prefer doing interviews/press with smaller names as opposed to the big music journalists we always hear about

Just getting ahead of things a bit here, but if the Stargate thing doesn't turn out to be anything special, please don't take it out on anyone or harrass the people at Stargate. There's a chance that people wouldn't do that even if I didn't say anything, but just as a precaution, please try not to be too upset if it isn't anything new.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I've long since stopped getting angry at Chameleons as I call em. With BOC, disappointment is a central expectation, but there is also always a glimmer of hope on the horizon. BOC rose once in 2013 and they'll probably rise again in the future with or without Stargate.

I think it's silly to think BoC aren't coming back at this point, I'm happy with all the signs they have given us, the recent bocpages like on Twitter was the cherry on top. I'm happy to wait now, it's an uncomfortable wait, but I'm not getting as anxious about it like I have been in the past.

They are (in my opinion) the greatest band of all time, all I want is for their discography to feel complete and at the moment it feels like something is missing, maybe even multiple things are still missing.

I no longer say "if" or ask "when", the only question I ask now is "what?"

Here we go again, first question id ask is why they didn't record the whole thing, clearly there is more than one track on there so they should upload both tracks in full.

Secondly, they also wouldn't be using their phone to record, there's no reason they couldn't rip the tracks from the vinyl. I assume the audio isn't actually coming from the record.

Thirdly, this sounds like that BoC vst, which is cool, I use it from time to time, but there is no depth to the sound.

These fakes are so common that I feel like people are just using it more and more as an excuse to get people to check out their own music. This is not a way to hook me on their music, this just drives me away, I really hope this fad ends soon.

The endless chameleons makes me realize that BOC coming out of nowhere would be even more brilliant.

If they drop it some random day, the fake album won't even have the opportunity to be generated.

You know what, the BOC Twitter liked someone...a bunch of people actually asking for a new album or two...so I'm going to fully believe it

This track is by Cult48, called Agfa Qi from their album Underground Signals From An Unknown Place last year. It’s awesome!!

That twoism.org moment when you wake up and find all the fun and frolics of the fake test pressing fair simultaneously got discussed about and then solved overnight.

I just can't win with you Stateside Yankee Candles can I?
