To be fair, the guy he kicked out was always an asshole. This was a couple years ago when we were in high school too, we were all a little screwy. Haven't spoken to him since though, haha.

You're not alone. I've really tried with Flying Lotus and I can sort of admire it from a technical standpoint... But I just don't hear any tunes in there.

Also would like to throw out an album that fits this topic perfectly: Kid A by Radiohead.

I do not understand its popularity. In my opinion, half of it sounds like a shoddy imitation of IDM music (which I feel they accomplished much more appropriately on Amnesiac, see "Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors") and half of it sounds like OK Computer b-sides with a few more synths thrown in.

That being said, The National Anthem is a very good track and Motion Picture Soundtrack is decent.

I'm open to everyone's musical opinions, but as a writer, and a writer who uses a healthy amount of profanity in his work at that, this article makes my brain sad.

Also, I'd like to add Michael Jackson and everything he's involved with to the list of artists I don't get.
