Oh cool, a promote your music thread. I'm on it 8)

This is my latest EP which is partly BoC-inspired: http://marklyell.bandcamp.com/

And my first EP, which is a tad more professional and on a label and is more ambient/chillout: http://modulargrid.moonfruit.com/#/ambient/4573194801

I used to make music under the Trills moniker, but retired it to form something a bit more abstract.

I'll start:

I'm very proud of this song as its like a new take on the tired dubstep genre. The chiptunish melody also seems to fit like a glove and I still can't believe I pulled a melody like that off. Its on a mix I made featuring all the garbage I made and didn't finish but looking back, this track was pretty finished and pretty damn good.

Flamingo Pudding is really catching on as a live show as well. I've played 8 gigs last year. Thats quite allot for my doing. I get loads of complements after playing, people come especially for me and I even have some regular visitors that help out with the show even though they don't know it. Its like a playhouse.
Good work dude. Some of it reminds me of playing old school video games.. Flamingo pudding is awesome, i preferred it to the ghosts tune

Some good stuff. Haven't gotten through all of it, but I especially like Arp 2wo and Hand Shaking so far.
Thank you, Arp 2 was made in collaboration with a canadian synth pop artist named Gary Flanagan, here's his website:

He's on bandcamp too: http://garyflanagan.bandcamp.com/

Nice music if you're into that genre! ;)

I posted this once in the other thread, but no one ever commented on it. I really just want to know what people think.

Cool stuff man, drums remind me of 747 haha. Love the dark retro synth and the overall tone of the track, does feel a tad un-finished though - could have maybe had a bit more progression with it being fleshed out a little more as i would love it to be longer =]

Had never intended to release this digitally, but a small deal with a young label fell through and kind of blindsided me. Anyway, couldn't let it sit in my hard-drive anymore unheard.

Hi.
Been busy last two months.
I have three albums out.
Plunderphonic type stuff, really inspired by OT Vol 2, Nyetscape, Eccojams, Prefuse 73 and James Ferraro, especially.

Hi there! I normally don't post my music around but BoC is a HUGE influence for me, so I thought I'd share it with you guys. I play synth and do the drum programming in this band. I record the original songs on my own and then pass them around to my friends to collaborate.

I'd describe it as kind of nostalgic, washed out, embellished electronic music with vocals and other organic instruments (flute, sax, marimba, etc). My secret weapon is a '70s Space Echo tape delay machine, which I discovered when researching the gear that BoC uses. That thing makes the spookiest and most unpredictable sounds!

You can grab the album for free here:

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for listening!

If you guys want, I can also share some of our new songs in progress :D
