Peacock Tail is me, a rented suv and a week in the oven-like late summer heat of '05, breathing in the state of NJ before I moved (back) to the UK.

Dude, Campfire Headphase is such a visual album. Peacock Tail is for me, being up in the Rockies, in a little village town in Colorado. Just hanging out with friends, looking at the gigantic mountains, the forests and valleys, and just feeling at peace. Sublime stuff.

Everything You Do Is A Balloon = Rain
Was listening to this song driving through rain once and it just clicked. Now I always put it on when it rains!

Yeah, Campfire is sunny as shit. In the context of Geogaddi and IABP, it's like the sun coming out after a storm.
Of course, it gets a bit blizzardy during Sherbert Head.

Drums wise kinda reminds me of tracks like cow cud is a twin or ventolin plain an gwarry mix. Gets my head nodding just the same. I think it wouldn't sound out of place on I care. But hey ho!

Most of BOC's music is sunny to me, but not in a "hey, we're off to the beach to get pissed" kind of way. It's a hazy, mysterious sunshine like when you're a kid somewhere new, blazing hot, and suddenly alone
