Re Vorderman and similar Countdown related titles - I get the mental image of where the letters once came out as an almost in correct order 7 letter rude word I forget what it was.

Well Richard Whitely was the actual host in Carol's day, but anyway.

It is daft to get upset by a April's fool. I suppose it was good enough to catch people out although I thought that it was a bit cruel as its a soft target.
