It sounds like the "art cards" which we've known about for awhile, are exclusive to shops.

while sort of a bummer for bleep preorders, i like that their providing incentive to support local shops. still hope some sort of bonus will come from bleep orders though....

yeah, i mean i plan to drive 6 hours there and back to visit a "local record store" to try and get a poster etc but goddamn boc have some sympathy for your like minded rural inhabitants!!
edit: JB Hifi website shows vinyl with "download coupon" but that might just be for the mp3 like most vinyls do come with

Even if this card is not included with the Bleep preorders...and there is actually bonus material...it's 2013, the link for the download will be everywhere within minutes of it being available. I'm still not 100% sold on it, record stores might just be confused and the card could simply be for the digital download of the LP, and that's it. The "bonus material" they may have been told about by Warp could be the stuff like the wallpapers and the link to the video.

Go look at Bleep. If you order the CD, it's listed as "CD Digipak with art cards".
And if the cosecha video and wallpaper are the "exclusives," it's not a big deal.
Besides, as much as Warp wants to help out local record shops, I don't think they'd make that material unavailable forever. They want business, too.

I wonder if it was a good idea to order from Boomkat, I didn't get the Reach for the Dead single and I'm not sure if they're even accepting my credit card, might become a rush to get the CD on release day.

Well, worst case scenario..I go and buy my CD copy at a local shop. I plan on getting it on CD eventually anyway - since the rest of their catalogue I own is on it at current. Just more incentive I suppose..

I will be very.....very upset if this is the case.
These are not the ART cards............go read the Warp link. These are download cards for bonus material.
This legitimately suggests that indys will get the extra goodies. I cant see the bonus material being the stuff we have already.......it will be new.
Dear god help me if it is.
I will have learn a sorry lesson for pre-ordering seconds after an album is launched.

wait - the relevant news here is that there are more songs than we were previously aware of -- whether or not anyone feels ripped off with their preorder is way beside the point. I'm pretty sure that bonus material will find itself on my ipod just as quickly as the vinyl arrives at my doorstep.

I don't see it that way I am afraid.
The differentiation between people who wait until a week or so ebefore the release and happen to dander down to their local store and super-duper hardcore fans who buy online nanoseconds after cracking a code that they have been melting over for a couple of weeks is what is in the spotlight here.

I am nearly sure of it. Things around this are so well designed and engineered, its not accidental.
Unless.....this is the download link for an early release for pre-orders which it could be i suppose.
The bonus material might be what is in that URL.
