notice the back cover image:
...is the same image as one of the photo slides on one of the Art Cards that comes with the CD version:

(^^Right there)
do you think this is because each slide represents a track on the album? seems to be the case...
one catch: there's 18 slides all together...
(also, 70th post)

the 18th slide is a peel off sticker with the final code for the bonus track underneath
we just need to find which slide.
roger out.

Well spotted armotron!
The single is currently at $118.94 AUD, which means I won't be bidding.

Investigate everything!
Best beleeev when I first walked outside with my new reserva card I held it up to the sun to examine
the transparency and any possible link-up with the 2 images, text, or watermark/lightmark codes. These foos boc maaaan, I swear I LOVE that they got me trippin lookin for shit that aint even there. I effin LOVE IT!
So I wonder if "Unauthorized Public Performance....Prohibited" will apply to TH album listening parties of say.... from loud audio systems at a lookout point, or beach bonfire... that are say... advertized on the net? Surely the party will think of it as private but if warp lawers know the IP game and are dicks like all the rest of the copyright lawyers, they'll go for everything, and shut it down arguing publc. They
are pullin youtubes....
Not that I care its just a random thought I had.

When this whole thing started with the codes i spent some time scanning through the old shortwave thinking maybe just maybe they'd broadcast something.

RFTD, in my opinion, isn't officially out yet. It was released through Bleep to anybody who had pre-ordered the album as a preview. We may see a proper release of the single on these dates? Hopefully anyway.

I would have been happier if it read... "Boards of Canada in their 4th analogue bubblebath"

It did have a full proper digital release on the same day:

That's silly money. I've waited around and got promos in the past for much less.

I'm hoping this is the digital release of a potential EP, with the physical release to follow on the 24th June - seems a bit too soon after the release of the album however, they have waited a bit longer than that between album & EP releases in the past, but I'd be over the moon if this is an EP release at the end of June. We shall see.....

Maybe some bidders got a little frustrated being unable to get the promo tapes, they made sure they got this?

Spot on. I bought this. Way over the top, but with all that money I saved in not buying those pesky tapes I suddenly had money burning a hole in my pocket!
I expect to see loads of these in the future.
Ah well.

I just hope this one auction doesn't push up the prices of all future TH promo's that appear on sale

Another ones gone up for sale from the same seller, less than a day to go.

Already at £20. I genuinely think the price these are going for is insane. This second one on ebay is from the same seller. He must be absolutely loving life right now.
