Isaac Hayes was one of the greatest soul songwriters of the twentieth century when he wrote for all the Stax legends (partnered with David Porter). A handful of his solo work is also classic.egbdf wrote:I'm not saying he's as incredible as BoC, but Chick Corea is into Scientology and he has made some pretty good music.d e n wrote:yeah, i think he was being sarcastic in mentioning that now that i think about it. since its so obvious that they aren't.
i don't think it could be possible for anyone who's invested in that b.s to produce such incredible music.

damn! haha, of course there is no way one can correlate good music with not-believing-in-scientology. i was honestly just typing and not thinking about what i was writing. i could say based on what they've said in interviews its unlikely... that is the most i could say. Issac Hayes is great and Chick is the man of course and wrote some of the craziest melodies ever. i'm about to see him in July!
Mark Isham - Something Nice for My Dog. This album is really interesting. I think the boc fakers are always obvious but if this wasn't recorded so well i would totally believe it being a track from Old Tunes or something.
can you post how 'it's been found'. i am doubtful that boc would sample a synthesizer considering they've stated several times that rarely sample anything but themselves. would be interesting if they did though.Sun Drugs wrote:im calling sample. so legit. the drone too.
what you think
EDIT turns out its been found and is sample. awesome
