Question.. if i was to get my ordinary camera and just place some crenckled up plastic infront of the lense with my hand would it have the 'kinda' same effect?
that make sence?

thats what it looks like here.

I dont like photoshop because it takes away from the pic you are trying to take first hand.
Yeah, I am not a fan of photoshop either when it comes to takeing photos with film. I use a lot of filters for my film cams. The one you were asking about was done with a holga 120 Image
You can take double exposures (picture on picture) with it. To get the fog affect? You could use some plastic if you do not have filters, I have done that before too.

I did that with my polaroid camera, cause my soft focus filters were too big:

Polar,

Great, great, great stuff. I'd kill to be able to take pics like that.

I had a Holga for a little while, not sure what happened with it.. could never capture the dreaminess that I had seen from other Holga users. Guess I didn't have enough light leaking into the camera.. :?

Yeah. They are fun cameras. You can convert the Holga from 120 to 35mm using rubber bands, foam and tape! We did this about a month ago. Doing so creates a nice wide angle shot! I scanned some negs.
