I'm a huge fan. Bre'r's OLSB Music No. 1 is something I've listened to non stop for the past year and a half.

What is the story of BARO? My first exposure was Dhome Herder via Nosdam a few years ago, and I've always been curious.

Awesome. Bre'r is amazing, OLSB and Dhome Herder are two releases I hold near & dear. Basically, BARO was founded by mr. D.A. Fisher (Bre'r) and Ian Ferguson (Calidonia County) around 2009 to put out creative endeavors by friends/family/themselves. It's been digital only until last year, when BARO put together the first 12" compilation LP, and now we have four cassettes under our belt. Nosdam has been helping out from the start, as he's friends with Ian and mr. Fisher. He's done mastering on a couple BARO releases, collaborated with Bre'r, sequenced and put together the comp, and contributed his new release TRISH for us to put out on tape. He collected a bunch of thrift store record sleeves for silk screening purposes which is how the first hundred comp LPs are housed. Matthewdavid did the mastering on the comp and contributed a new track. He's been getting more involved with lending us a hand, which is awesome since his own label Leaving Records is one of the finest tape-centric labels out there today. I got involved with the label when Colin (Ant'lrd) and Ian listened to my first completed album, GAUZE, and wanted to put it out. Ever since, i've become closer friends with them and have taken the role of PR. So yeah, thats the BARO story thus far. We are really trying to reach out and spread the word about our operation and it's awesome that people like you guys are checking us out. Thanks for your interest!

I'm always glad to spread the word of Odd Nosdam and all the Anticon players. Nosdam is definitely one of my favorite music makers and I can't wait until his new LP drops. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the BARO label as well. Thank you sir.
