It depends on your surroundings, mindset, length of drive...

our camping anthem is Aquarius!
we load up the vintage RV, i select my "BOC camping mix" and we head off to Big Sur, Yosemite, or wherever ... its a solid 6 minutes of head-bobbing and bass-slapping on the steering wheel.

I occasionally drive up to Oregon to see my folks (from Southern California). Most recently did it in February. In any event the stretch of road north of Mt. Shasta through Bend, Oregon is about as remarkable as it gets regardless but on a sunny winter morning with snow it is ridiculous.. in any event i threw on Music Has the Right to Children to complete the mind blowing experience. Eagle in Your Mind would be the single most eidetic memory of it all.

I like driving along to the Headphase album with the windows down. Left Side Drive (with Solange and without Solange) can also be sprinkled in. In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country makes me feel great while driving too. Especially "Kid For Today"

1969 to me just screams like old school black convertible sports car with the top down cruising down a freeway and matching black sunglasses, one arm on the wheel, other on the outside of the door of the car.
