I have no idea what is the most beautiful song in the world for me, but the last song that caused such an impression in me was Damien, by the Legendary Pink Dots. I can still feel the aftershocks in me, and it's been three years since I first heard it. I think.

As far as songs that blew me away with shear beauty I'd have to go with Keith Kenniff.

Helios - Bless This Morning Year

Every little break-down and chord change in that song just blows me away still to this day. He has tons of other beautiful tracks but that one is burned in my memory.

Here's another from the same album that got me.

Helios - Halving The Compass

Well, clearly that changes with circumstances and time. Lately, the first minute of this song calms me instantly. Next month, who knows?

Still one of my very favorites featuring the Fairlight CMI

The original version only please.

Moments In Love

I still remember when I heard this for the first time. The summer between 9th and 10th grade. A friend had a huge party the night before and the next day we went back over to help clean up. This record was sitting off to the side and I had never heard of this band before so being curious I put it on and this came on. I went in love immediately.

Helios - Bless This Morning is glorious by the way

This. Basically everything Kieth has ever done. Halving the compass makes me tear up everytime I hear it.

I really have been struck by cilocub.. march febrile and bee face/the nuh are very beautiful to me. Eyes around the shivering tree is the most beautiful song (right now heh) to me.

Agreed! "eyes around the shivering tree" is incredible. Hard to know whether to laugh or cry when listening to it, so much emotions.

the answer to this question is kind of impossible because there's so much beauty in so much music but sigur ros' "valtari" (the album) is a masterpiece
maybe my favorite full album they've made (maybe)
ekki mukk is particularly breathtaking

Recently I've been listening to Rhian Sheehan.

Listen to the first couple of tracks on that album Sileo and The Upper Sky.

Riceboy Sleeps - Boy 1904
(Jonsi & Alex are the perfect duo for this kind of music.)
