Word of advice to all reading this thread: If you've never fired up Audacity and rifled through the BoC catalog seeing what the fast songs sound like slow and what the slow songs sound like fast, you're missing out.

Whenever I do it, it sounds in terrible quality I don't know much about Audacity, am I doing something wrong? I'm using the original WAV file from the Japanese import then putting it in Audacity and doing exactly what you said with Change Speed. Then I export it in WAV too and it sounds awful. I'm not sure why.

Does it sound okay before you export it? If it only gets bad when you do, try playing with the Format Options in the export window. WAV doesn't have any export options but you can try FLAC or 320kbps MP3. If it's already bad before exporting there might be an issue with Audacity. In either case make sure you're using the latest version of Audacity.
