You guys are are stoked to be so close! I've decided that if they do not announce any further dates, then I'm just going to have to fly out there. I've said countless times that a BoC show would be worth flying anywhere for.

I would love it if they came to Nyc, it's just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Burgh compared to fucking Belgium! A 6 hour car ride would be a lot easier on the wallet than a 12 hour flight.

I don't want to spoil the fun, but I have some questions about BoC coming to Belgium at this fest.
1) Warp says BoC is NOT going to play live at this fest. Not now, not in 2006.
2) BoC only plays live on very very rare occasions. They have performed maybe 5 or 10 times in their whole carreer. Why would they come to Belgium for this event?
3) After the release of Geogaddi BoC asked a crazy amount (30.000 euro's) of money for a live-gig. A lot of money for such an independent organisation as yours.. I'm sure they didn't lower their price. Where do you get the money from?
4) BoC is represented by Clear Channel in Belgium, Warp doesn't do any direct bookings for them. What does CC say about all this?
I really would like to see BoC coming to Belgium, but a lot of very experienced promotors pointed out these things for me. Can anybody assure me they don't have a point?

yeah something still bothers me about all of this.. it seems so weird, the fact that they're playing live at all.
(30.000 euro's to play? damn - so far for my BoC-enchanted bbq next year)

Because you have to recall BoC will promote their new album some way or the other so "touring" might be it.

that's were the hassle was, some british pimpbooker, arranged this shit for me and a friend booker from italy.The event is also very rare in its kind, it's an artexhibition.So no boc,But it will be something else!
Not putting all this shit again on a forum!We are trying to do the best we can off looking for an arrangement, and let me say I'm not a rookie in booking artists(people who know me know i booked a lot allready without problems), now we just had some pimpbooker and that's were the hassle began.
Now looking up to confirm our headliner if he confirms us!
