Huh. I never thought to use the four humors/temperaments. I'm phlegmatic, but TCH isn't my favorite.
Revisiting this, I would actually switch Geo and TH.

Part of my interpretation of Harvest is that the band is trying to show us a way down a long and hazardous road. It's a firm and heavy-handed dose of reality. Choleric individuals are dominant leaders who strive to succeed. Harvest being choleric is like saying it wants to show us the folly of our ways and lead us down a better path.

Melancholic individuals are subtle perfectionists who prefer communicate on an emotional rather than literal level. Geo is widely considered the deepest and most layered album. Many here consider it a perfect album free from flaws that is both dark and moody and steeped in emotion.

Yours and my mileage may vary.

Melancholics are very cold and introverted. They're also generally perfectionists and pretty sensitive about other people's opinions. Cholerics are usually more "alphas" who strive to show everyone who's boss. They're more extroverted and tend to get in other people's business. To me, TH seems very meticulous and reserved, while Geo is more boisterous and "in your face". I certainly see where you're coming from, but I just disagree.
