Yeah, I think us members deserve some answers. How did you get this so soon? Where's that picture? With all the fake topics popping up, news regarding any kind of release (and definetly regarding release of old material) is going to be viewed with a little suspicion

Boards of Canada - Alpha Taxonomy (WARP169CD)
Release date: December 4, 2006
Warp Records are delighted to announce the highly-anticipated Boards of Canada box set Alpha Taxonomy, a collection of previously unreleased songs and rarities, commonly circulated online as the 'Old Tunes'. Unwillingly leaked to the web years ago, Mike and Marcus have finally given into the incredible demand for the tracks. They've remastered and re-recorded a colossal 87 tracks, spanning four compact discs, as well as overseeing a gorgeous accompanying 32-page booklet. The lovely resulting package goes well beyond the high expectations the duo's fans have come to hold. Alpha Taxonomy will be available for pre-order from Warpmart in the coming weeks.
Boards of Canada will be performing live at a handful of shows in early 2007.
could be someone from warp just getting the ball rolling!!

It's looking good but Archival started by quoting this thread. He doesn't say how he got it confirmed.
Hold the line there chaps. Stiff upper lip. Let's not make damned fools of ourselves. We've got months to roll around giggling if it's true.

That forum finally loaded for me. Why does WATMM run so incredibly slow for me? It's as if I'm back on 56K when I'm there.

I'm just gonna go ahead and call this BULLSHIT until someone proves otherwise.
Haven't we seen this shit before - someone claiming they somehow knew something and got an email way before anyone else? ONE FUCKING PERSON OUT OF ALL OF US??

I'm so unsure, I mean 87 tracks is alot of BoC, and the whole boxset thing its really a huge step but fucking amazing if true.
But as ppl are saying I aint getting me hopes up until I see this email going out.
