I haven't, but only because I haven't found a reason to yet. MDG is just a normal bloke who happens to have two friends who are in a band. PMing him isn't different to messaging anybody else on Twoism from my point of view.

I've PMed him on WATMM and here on twoism. It was just to confirm that when a new account on twoism appeared, bearing the name MDG and sporting his unique user pic, I wanted to make sure it was him and not someone who would try to sully his name or something. This was before twoism mods confirmed that it is him after all. Then I said if it is in fact him that I wanted to welcome him to twoism and am looking forward to his contribution to the forums. Got a very kindly worded reply shortly after. Nice guy.
I think that's the only time I PMed him. Haven't had a good reason to since.

I PM'ed him because I had a psychotic episode and thought the brothers had tapped my computer once. Silly me.
(All better now)

He used to be maybe until 4/5 years ago, then I think he gave up 'cause it was at that time when the BoC subforum was a major shitfight (prior to the blackbox) and I think he just washed his hands of it all and handed the reigns over to Joyrex. I could be wrong but perhaps he posted there a few months back...

Ya, that's about right. WATMM's BoC sub-forum used to be the main forum for mdg debunking BoC rumors n' other stuff. Now he doesn't even have an account on WATMM anymore. My guess is that all of the disrespectful threads and posts probably frustrated him. There was no longer any point in offering help to people who don't want it and are rude about it. He clearly still saw value in helping BoC fans though. After all, he came to help us out here afterwards. So be respectful to mdg. We want him to stay and help out for as long as he can.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure watmm would apologise to him as well. Though I'm sure mdg would just realise the fact that most of it was hot air. Things are pretty cool nowadays over there on watmm. Remember you had a trolling silence from Richard for a decade, Squarepusher was releasing very average records, BOC were on a total blackout. Only Autechre were just getting on with the day job. Then the promise of new/old BOC never appeared. Things were mental.
Now we have Richard releasing magic tricks by the truckload, Squarepusher releasing some of his best music in Damogen Furies, Autechre Question Time and the new live sets are some of the sickest experimental stuff they have ever done. Boards still remain tricky customers though. As always

Ya, WATMM is great right now. I'm posting there now more than ever. I think you're right about the stagnant/hot air being due to a lack of big releases from the main forum artists. I guess WATMMers are much happier now with all the awesome new material (much like anyone would be), especially from WATMMs most beloved RDJ. There's better, happier conversation in new stuff. Not rehashing the same old things so much, which was a big part of leading to that "hot air".

I saw this and without looking assumed it'd be an old Cupz thread, heh. Not voting. "Noaw" is a funny string of letters so I'd click that but then I'd be lying.
I have briefly conversed with the guy via PM before...twice, perhaps? The joke he responded with once was pretty funny. Otherwise, I've sent him probably two more messages that never received a response (they weren't really questions to be honest though lol) over the years.
