It was. A similar thing reportedly happened to a Bibio track called 9:13 which was changed to 1899-12-30.

The difference is that there are other signs pointing to 5/22 as a date of interest. For example, the second performance of the Byron Wallen ensemble MHTRTC performance being added on 5/22 around the same time.
