I've seen it listed on a torrent tracker site before, but I can't remember which one. I never downloaded it, but I was always curious as to what it was. Your description, along with the fact that it was someone from this forum who created it, definitely makes me wanna check it out. I love stuff like this! Hopefully I can find it and it is still seeded!!

Ah no need. Appreciate the offer but I managed to find it another place. I'm actually really surprised it's been added to so many sources. Anyhow thanks for the kind words my friends. It was good to open up about it.

Oh, and, yeah. Don't mind Xaugh. Some people have very strong ways of expressing their lack of interest. When I was in my 20s I used to do that a lot. "I don't care for this, so you're all stupid for liking it!" I didn't really accomplish anything with it.

I don't mind Xaugh spouting his nonsense in the same way he shouldn't mind me calling him out on it.
I get the feeling he's getting a kick out of what he's doing but it's healthy to know that not everyone is into it. Brings the feet back to the earth. Saying this, who am I to affect his output? if he believes in his online persona he should carry on regardless.

Frankly “calling Xaugh out” probably won’t accomplish anything... I believe he suffers from schizophrenia. He’s mentioned it in several posts and his writing certainly displays schizophasia that would be consistent with the condition. I certainly wouldn’t take what he says personally.

That said, as to the topic, I really don’t understand the elitism and pretentiousness displayed by some BoC fans when they criticize projects like this, as it’s the exact opposite of what the band stands for - creating art and music for its own sake. I’m looking forward to checking out the tracks.

I agree. He is an interesting character and people should take what enjoyment they can out of his ramblings really and try not to look into it too much if they feel that they have been the subject of his writing in a negative way.

Inevitably, they are just words.

Ok, so as the subject keeps cropping up...

Us mods are aware of the Xaugh situation and we're doing our best to strike a happy balance of tolerance, without allowing things to get out of hand and move into personal abuse in either direction.

As always please feel free to flag any post, by any poster and we will look at it. Xaugh is currently taking a sabbatical but could return later.
