Vocals could be great like the Beck broken drum remix.

I'm up for that.

But if it turns out to be stupid mellow commercial vocals like most stuff from Zero7... that would suck..

but uhm Massive Attack styled vocals like in the tracks angel, unfinished sympathy or teardrop... I'd hit it! ;)

kirsty hawkshaw would be nice too! she worked together with James Holden and Digitonal! Both great coops.. her voice is damn fine! I'd love to see her voice with all the boc goodness... lush!

I wouldnt know what to think if they added vocals, the music itself tells a story and is more powerfull than any lyrics.

It could be choir sounds or tribal 'chanting' ... it doesn't have to be bad to have "vocals" :)

BoC will never be " stupid mellow commercial ". With or without voices.

Hopefully no vocals....
I don't think there will be any either. I am thinking that they are going to do something more dense and complex than TCH, but not necessarily as dark as Geogaddi.

What's the big deal about vocals? They've already done it a couple times technically speaking with IABPOITC, and 1969. I wouldn't mind if they did some more songs like that. I can't see them making an entire album chock full of full on vocals though.

As for where they might be heading next musically, I'm down for anything. they will continue to surprise I'm sure.

NO ZERO 7.
Their remix of Radiohead's "Climbing up the Walls" is ace. But... they have made some CORNY music in their time. My cousin listens to them sometimes, and they have this like contemporary gospel track that makes me want to shoot myself in the face, maybe with a gun.

How do you know it would be horrible that BoC used vocals in the near future? It depends what kind if you ask me. When a new album or EP is released you going to wait 2 months because " i never like dsicovering it when everyone else is...." what a snobby remark :!:

Personally I hope they never revisit the "darkness" of Geogaddi. This preoccupation with "darkness", is I don't know, boring. I love Geogaddi, but they made that record already. I hope they make a record full of light and good times

Perhaps a record wholey based on the life and times of Doug Henning!! I know a few of you'd love to hear that.

I like Reading Rainbow.
