Re: Robert F. Kennedy Jr 2024
He is the least egregious I am watching as much video of him speaking as possible right now. Who would support sending deadly weaponry for more and more people to die whatever the side? Lame take. Also side with vaccine autonomy -- I took 2 for my job as it was required was grossed out by the social engineering campaigns. I like that he does not give time about sexual identity politics a low priority issue. Coordinating bathrooms interestingly appear to be the only problem when boiled down. Unsure of the 5g thing I will try and watch more of him actually talking about that. This year's outsider for worse or better.

Yep, I got vaccinated (I'm heavily immunocompromised) and I also got COVID.NTFMTS wrote:To Samurai Drifter and Arvy, thanks for the responses (I'm lazy and don't want to quote a bunch of quoted quotations) and I agree with both of your points about the covid stuff. But at this point, all my friends, family and I did get covid
Remember when Biden, Fauci, and a bunch of authorities claimed that the vaccine would "stop you from getting COVID" and would turn people into a "dead end for the virus"?
That turned out to be a blatant lie. Lol.
Re: Robert F. Kennedy Jr 2024
What videos are you watching about him? I will time stamp the crazy shit he said during his Joe Rogan interview if it's that necessary to show you how unhinged he is.. Did you read anything I brought up about him from said interview in this thread? Also Joe Rogan is a hack as well, just to make that clear.Glen_Glog wrote:He is the least egregious I am watching as much video of him speaking as possible right now. Also what are you talking about in terms of sending weapons to Ukraine? You think the US is just going to stop doing that? How do you think history played out in the way that the US and Russia are tied to the war? Please read some legit history about American occupation and imperialism, it's how the country works. I never said I supported that, I literally said that is the matter of fact. This is why we address these problems from inside and not just blindly accept the misinformation that a conspiracy theorist espouses as truth.
I swear ya'll are brain broken. I'm sorry, I'm trying to be nice but it's like arguing with a flat earther.

Where do you get your information? Like what are you reading or seeing that brings you to that conclusion?SamuraiDrifter wrote:Yep, I got vaccinated (I'm heavily immunocompromised) and I also got COVID.NTFMTS wrote:To Samurai Drifter and Arvy, thanks for the responses (I'm lazy and don't want to quote a bunch of quoted quotations) and I agree with both of your points about the covid stuff. I'm very close friends with an MD and he'd laugh at this conclusion even though he has the firm belief that vaccinations and protocols are useless nowadays. He was vaccinated and spent a lot of time dealing with covid patients.
Now I highly doubt that Faucci or Biden actually said it would "make you invincible" to the virus. In fact the CDC concluded their major coverage of this with saying it's endemic, and everyone would get it one way or another. How did it become endemic you think? Because enough people were exposed to it enough for it to spread without severe illness. How do vaccines work? They buld up immunity, which prevents severe symptoms.
Now with all this in mind, the conclusion is and should be = larger groups of people being exposed to the virus with stronger immunity meant that the virus no longer mutated as much, less people ended up dying, and the symptoms of the virus became much less deadly.
I got the pfizer dose, I forget how many you're supposed to get, and got 2 out of 3 of the boosters and yes I still did get covid. All it did was make me mildly tired and have a sore throat for 3 hours. My friend who only got the first vaccination got it last december and got wicked sick. My Brother and my Mom also got it and the symptoms were pretty mild, but my Sister and my Brother-in-law, who is very anti-vax, got pretty sick for about two weeks. I also have a group of libertarian friends who were super anti vax, got covid and all had different reactions to it, but they admitted they got sick. This is my personal anecdotal data.
Again, let me reiterate, pfizer and moderna etc and the cdc and faucci never said this was an end all cure. It was a preventive vaccine, and in trying times, would never be the end all of covid. That's why it's endemic now, that's why they all said it's endemic, and that's why everyone will eventually get it. This is how science works. This doesn't resonate with JFKjr because he doesn't understand how science works.

Re: Robert F. Kennedy Jr 2024
Biden and Fauci actually did, straight up say that it would prevent you from getting the virus. Even the AP pointed out that this was inaccurate.
I'm not making this up. Whatever your feelings on the vaccine, the authorities lied about it.

Okay I hear that. That's fair, I'm not suprised at all that Biden would say that. But that Hill piece is pretty sus, I mean the main focus was on the quote:
“'So even though there are breakthrough infections with vaccinated people, almost always the people are asymptomatic and the level of virus is so low it makes it extremely unlikely — not impossible but very, very low likelihood — that they’re going to transmit it,' Fauci said."
The Hill is often a pretty questionable media source. But I'm not really disputing the main points you bring up.

How someone can still defend all that vaccine bullshit right now baffles me. You must either be living in unconscious fear or just be downright delusional to believe all that shite.

Care to elaborate cuz I don't know what vaccine bullshit even means when you say it. Also Idgaf if you're antivax or not... this is not the point of the thread and you're contributing nothing about what is actually being discussed.Gazebo4 wrote:How someone can still defend all that vaccine bullshit right now baffles me. Does Vaccine Bullshit mean you're against covid misinformation, or are you saying that any information that tackles covid misinfo is bullshit? If the latter is the fact, you need to give at least an iota of why you say these kinds of things and where you got it from. Otherwise you look like someone who can't even fact check themselves and there's no grounds for anything you say because you're only saying it "just because." without any helpful information. That's what's considered to be a nothingburger opinion.
It's so fucking weird and absurd how people can't even take the first step of critical thought and maybe crosscheck any shit you hear on the internet. It's willful ignorance and doubling down on a take with zero integrity or info to back your nonsense because people don't like to be told they're wrong. This shit is nuts
How about even taking a minute of your time if you care to post to just see the info I posted and maybe help yourself look like you actually question and critically think about anything, rather than just parrot nonsense because it fits nicely with what you want to be told to think and what you want to hear.
Also just look up medical studies in your own fucking country. The data is consistent, and all sorts of doctors and biologists write the same thesese on the same topics and come to the same conclusion. Are you just saying that all medical bodies are conspiring to create fake medical information on a global level?
The logic just does not make any sense.
Re: Robert F. Kennedy Jr 2024
I mean at this point, you're suggesting that the whole world invented covid as some scheme to make money, even when there's plenty of free healthcare and socialist healthcare systems, mostly in Europe, that would literally benefit nothing from making up covid.
I find it very telling that no one responded to anything I linked about RFk, it's essentially a self report that ya'll can't do anything but cope with bullshit when in the face of anything that might contradict what you want to see as accurate and correct.

First of all, I don't find it telling at all that no one has replied to your links YET! It's only a 9 hour gap between that post and the one I'm replying to, this part of twoism does not move fast, in fact the forum as a whole is at a similar speed so please don't get irate and call the the lack of response a self-report for such a small span of time.NTFMTS wrote:I find it very telling that no one responded to anything I linked about RFk, it's essentially a self report that ya'll can't do anything but cope with bullshit when in the face of anything that might contradict what you want to see as accurate and correct.
Second, the point of the thread at this moment in time is talking, or rather debating the views of RFKjr, which we all have a lot to say on and tie in with our own opinions, and that's a vital part.NTFMTS wrote:Also Idgaf if you're antivax or not... this is not the point of the thread and you're contributing nothing about what is actually being discussed.
The post may not add anything in the grand scheme specifically but it is on topic concurrent. And I'm not about agreeing or disagreeing on any forms in it, for inexperience in these subject matters.
Thirdly!! (and it may not be to you), can we remain civil, such as what I have seen SamuraiDrifter displaying thus?

Fair. It gets frustrating when I offer counter points and imo reliable info and get called an idiot and delusional.Orbited insanitarium wrote:First of all, I don't find it telling at all that no one has replied to your links YET! I mean yes these are very complex issues, that goes without saying.
Re: Robert F. Kennedy Jr 2024
Or rather, @ Arvy, I meant to say that yes I agree with that point and want to clarify what I meant a bit more. There are tons of complexities in this ongoing war. But that does not mean imo that the end all solution could or should be US having peace talks with Putin. Putin is also a rutheless liar. And also our politicians love war. The overwhelming majority on both sides would not support RFKjr for this reason.
Lastly, I don't think that the US should decide the fate of Ukraine or have a final hand in the war. Ukraine is fighting for it's Autonomy, it's Ukraine's fight for freedom.

I really only care about most clean water - no poison in it next to your homes - and who will help fight for it (not lying about how they care). Boils down to that for me. I'm trying to figure it all out.

I certainly understand the sentiment. That's what I was hoping for with Bernie Sanders but then the DNC destroyed any possibility for him to run for President in 2016.Glen_Glog wrote:I really only care about most clean water - no poison in it next to your homes - and who will help fight for it (not lying about how they care). Sorry, I meant to quote this from the beginning, but this is a very good take imo.Orbited insanitarium wrote:Not a lucky name, Kennedy.

Brit here, I wouldn't prefer or could even say on who should be in power. Republicans have some downright barmy views, and the Democrats are a financially corrupt party, so couldn't side on either (I wouldn't mind being educated though).
Boys and toys.
Also if you want, (if you haven't seen it yet) I highly recommend you check out Adam Curtis's documentary Hypernormalisation. It delves deep into why we are where we are in the world. It's a BBC doc and Boards of Canada is in the soundtrack which is a bonus. Overall the soundtrack is fantastic also.

Re: Robert F. Kennedy Jr 2024
I didn't respond to them because I agree that RFK has a lot of very wildly wrong views. He's appeared on a couple of podcasts I listen to and said he "doesn't have an opinion" on whether diseases are caused by terrain theory or germ theory, meaning he's unwilling to take a stance on whether viruses exist. I also think the autism-vaccines connection is bullshit. And there's *nothing wrong* with being autistic!NTFMTS wrote: Fair. It gets frustrating when I offer counter points and imo reliable info and get called an idiot and delusional.
I also strongly dislike Peter Hotez because he called anyone who dissented from any part of the State's narrative on COVID, vaccines, or policy "anti-science", said that they were a "threat to national security" on par with nuclear proliferation, and suggested that the federal government should form task forces to attack and censor dissenters. He also pushes fearmongering about Russian influence being behind anything he doesn't like. Both he and RFK are awful for different reasons.
At the same time, if I were to support a political candidate (which I don't - as I said, I don't vote or support politicians), I'd take RFK Jr. over someone who has spent decades building the military and prison industrial complex, who also blatantly lies and spreads misinformation, and who doesn't respect bodily autonomy.
Ultimately though, I think voting is a shell game designed to distract people from directly changing things. Any politician that reaches any level of influence is bought and paid for.
