I recognize that sentiment negamuse. School has drained a lot fun from playing sports in any sort of competitive manner in me too.

I forgot to mention I also still skateboard (though have yet to put new bearings on my board for this summer). My knees are not what they used to be though, I mostly just cruise to work and back. The pop shove-it days are long gone.

I had a PE teacher who originated from Sunderland (he even looked like he'd just stepped out of 1956 with his intact blonde quiff). So PE lessons consisted of two choices; football or more football. I was always picked last of course. It put me off Association football for life I'm afraid.

I'm late 40s and play pick up basketball twice a week. This beats elliptical or running (which I used to do a lot of) for getting exercise.

I love playing and watching team sports. Kind of an aberration as the rest of my hobbies and music leanings are generally solitary.

Outside of school, not really.

As old as Hooper Bay and Play by Numbers are supposed to be, so 32.

Played football for the 1st time in a while today in a dads vs kids game…. I’m going to be sore in the morning…
