Epic new album just came out and people talking about old tunes, SMH
In particular because they have already mentioned this process several times in the interviews.tonx wrote:I think we're much more likely to get more new material made from old bits that anything like a BOCset.
I'm just going by what the boys themselves have said, coupled with the information MDG has supplied.niknak wrote:I am as skeptical that there are hundreds of tracks from this time period as I am that there are five released albums that no-one has ever even produced a photo of. But i'm sure there's some materiel we've never heard.
Like a couple of others have mentioned, I am way more interested in unreleased trakcs from the MHTRTC and Geogaddi eras.
That's the spirit, one can hope! I would be totally okay with a lot of non-album releases, or maybe them putting Boards of Canada to rest but resurrecting Hell Interface. Just generally somehow using Music70 to gradually put out gems from their unreleased back catalog. Who knows?mthrndr wrote:Guys I think the flexidisk is the clearest indication that they are NOT done, and that more is on the horizon. We are going to get a lot more weird, cool stuff from them
i will go to my grave believing that Naraka is the graduated final form of 5.9.78 or at least a repriseFredd-E wrote:In particular because they have already mentioned this process several times in the interviews.tonx wrote:I think we're much more likely to get more new material made from old bits that anything like a BOCset.
The past inside the present.
Ahh yes, I still need to listen to these both side-by-side again, I wanted to check that out.Waterbagel wrote:i will go to my grave believing that Naraka is the graduated final form of 5.9.78 or at least a repriseFredd-E wrote:In particular because they have already mentioned this process several times in the interviews.tonx wrote:I think we're much more likely to get more new material made from old bits that anything like a BOCset.
