Whoa! Feeling nostalgic for those vintage Boreal days, and looking forward to the fresh cuts!

I guess I can't edit the master post, but here's a list of tracks being worked on presently that I feel good about:

Throuble
Alaskaurora
Sisyphean Hearts
Eden Withering
Econalone E250 (which is, thus far, the most upbeat track on the record)

"Alaskaurora"

It was the last night of our trip to Juneau. Another magical adventure. One I hoped would save us. Remind us why we were together despite all the pain.

We'd had a terrible fight before the trip. I think something broke irreparably then.

We were flying out in the morning. It was 2 AM and I couldn't sleep.

I never can.

I went out onto the porch where we were staying. There, over the Juneau skyline, over Mt. Roberts, danced one of the most brilliant aurora I'd ever seen, silent. I came inside to wake her up. Told her what I was seeing. Asked her to come see.

She was too tired. Dead tired, wouldn't, couldn't come out. Went back to bed.

I stepped back outside and watched the sky. I was alone. I felt a cold profundity to that aloneness. Less than a year later, that aloneness would become my new reality.

Goodbye, Juneau. Goodbye, aurora. Goodbye my love.

sorroweautiful with a sidedish of goosebump. The per-note-variation of the filter in the second half is very nice.

No way, you're Boreal Network! You're Treeborhood EP holds a very special place in my heart, I think I maybe discovered it through Scott Hansen's ISO50 blog many years ago. Awesome to hear there's new music coming, I look forward to hearing it :)
