I received a message from Kris and he told me that Danny's condition is still the same. His kidney and liver are damaged due to the overdose so the doctor's give him a 50% chance of survival. This at least is something to hold on to.

He also read a report of what happend.
Danny well thought-out everything. He is an open institution where someone provided him of even more pills and some alcohol. The meaning was to be found much later.

I'm distressed about the whole situation. Even more so because I didn't notice it was this bad with him.. I mean, in the last weeks before he ignored me I chatted much more with him than before because of the compilation. He was extremely motivated with the whole project until a few weeks ago when he started to ignore my calls. I knew something was not right but I never thought it to be this bad. I feel so odd now when I think about his last words in our last chat before he went into the institution....

*Plays some music for Danny, as it is his whole life.. more than a few of us together.

Yeah Aesthetics, how could you have known. Even if you were his closest friend and saw him every day you might have not seen it. People are good at hiding things away.

It is so good to see so many people on this board pull together and keep danny in their thoughts and prayers. He needs them and so does everyone around him. I have been at a loss of words about this and havent known what to say. It's just not something you see in the horizon. One day Danny left the board and the next this happens. All that fast. I know we all have our fall outs on this board, and we may see things different at one time or another. After the current events, it makes all that shit seem even more insignificant than it already is. We all came here for music, and that is the common doniminator on this board. Danny is the heart of that. No matter what, he can spit off a music reference that would make your head spin. I dont know if I have ever come accross someone that knew as much about music as him. He is a unique person that brought alot of personality to the board, and it was kind of sad to see him leave. I hope he can pull though this. There is no explaining why people do what they do, and maybe all that is better left unsaid.

Danny we are thinking about you and pulling for you. This comp. is something you really want to be a big deal, and it we will do our best to make it something you would be proud to be a part of and represent.

I can only hope that Danny somehow finds the strength to get through this. I don't know him, but I do know that he deserves to live and get the help he needs. Keep fighting, Dan.

This just goes to show you how big the hearts are of the people on this board. A lot of people lost a lot of money and faulted him for it (I'm also guilty of this), but when this news arrived, not one negative comment has surfaced. Only support and hope for Danny to get better. I don't think I'll ever meet someone in person or on the internet that has the musical knowledge that he has. At any given moment, he could instantly know the band/label/year of virtually every release known to man. Everyone keep hope alive and think positive thoughts. I could only hope for the same support if something were to happen to me.

You know, I never would have wanted it to come at such a cost, but this One on Twoism compilation has really taken on a whole new meaning.

I hope that if Danny recovers he'll come back, as he is (and will be) dearly missed.

This night Danny has been transfered to another hospital because his kidney stopped functioning. The doctor say that he's close to death now... ..
