Welcome Geogaddi & cmx!
Geogaddi; is it possible to post a picture of BoC in Chinese?
cmx; are you Dutch? because Gerwin sounds very Dutch to me.

hi aesthetics,
no i'm not dutch, i'm belgian

my parents told me by the way that gerwin is a german name. i've also found out that whenever i search for 'gerwin' on the internet, most gerwins live in the netherlands. are you nederlands?
Edit jep ik zie dat je nederlands bent, tenzij lowlands toch nog voor iets anders staat

(translation for the ones not speaking dutch: yes i see that you're dutch, unless lowlands means something else

)

Hi all
Im new
I love BoC, I also love Aphex, Plaid and so many others that I could never list them all.
Funny thing happened to me today.
I was playing around with alpha and omega, slowing it down speeding it up, reversing it you know all the shit you do to find the hidden messages. Anyways I of course found where the guy says hes a satanist and whatever. So then I decided I should get some work done around the house so im building stairs to my deck and decide I need music. I turn on CBC galaxie ambiant channel and what song just starts playing, alpha and omega

. Its probably just coincidence but it sure tripped me out. Anyways I just thought I would share.

Welcome Chaos....I bet you got goosebumps as well!?
Quite a coincidence indeed, Alpha and Omega will never sound the same again for you.
Belgians seem to love this board.
D4VERD4NN & Fredd-E are Belgian too! (Dutch speaking that is)

i got the same experience in a little bit different way.. i was thinking about a song and then turned on the radio and tada

i can't remember which song though
ooh and la other info:
I am Jan Pieter from the same "Lowlands" as mentioned before. This summer's plan was to visit friends in Schotland and absorb a bit of the boc-ish atmosphere but screw those "friends"

they cancelled la trip.
Shit now i sound like boc is my religion but i am defenitely a bocaholic.
I make music myself under influence of more than boc alone:
chameleons uk
joy division
a lot of sectionz.com friends
the editors (since the last two weeks haha)
venetian snares
aphex twin (i need to ban that guy out of my influencelist

)
fennesz
akufen (love the idears but never listen to his results lol)
herbert (same haha)
radiohead (same as with mr afx)
there is more than new wave and idm to it though. i listen all styles of music but a man needs to have its favorites.
