I paid £5 (which NME is now reporting as the average amount per download). My old boss across the pond in Boston paid £20!! Flash bastard....

Radiohead are actually how I first heard of BOC. Read a piece back in 2000 about Kid A (just before it came out) and the influences that may have inspired them. Don't recall which track it was now, but BOC were sited as an influence after Thom Yorke bought the ENTIRE Warp back catalogue sometime after OK Computer.

I remember that article. Been trying to track down the original, think it may have been an issue of Q magazine. That list of influences definitely got me into BOC.

I'm 99% certain I have it somewhere. If I find it I'll post it up...

True - OK Computer is a big bitter rock album while Amnesiac still feels like a disjointed collection of songs to me, some stunning and some just okay.
Only had time to listen to In Rainbows once so far. Struck me as very consistent (at least as good as Kid A, although with a very different feel) and very intimate. It feels like a proper album, which is something Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief didn't manage for me.
'All I Need', in particular, is just stunning. The final build sent shivers down my spine. Completely unexpected, and in a year when so many potentially good records have disappointed I'm so relieved that Radiohead can still do that to me.

Absolutely.
Ashamed to say that the only two Radiohead albums I've heard all the way through are Pablo Honey and In Rainbows.
Time to pick up their back catalogue!

OH. MY. GOD.
You NEED to hear OK Computer immediately - IMMEDIATELY I tell you!! Frankly, Pablo Honey is their worst album by a street - they virtually disowned it. Please, seriously, go now and pick up the back catalogue. This is so serious that frankly if you lived nearby I'd be round in five minutes to frog march you the CD store myself. You poor deprived soul. You have my sympathy.
PS - In Rainbows is just lovely. Possibly their most complete and focussed work since OK Computer.
