Sorry, you are totally right about that!
I totally forgot that it's a demo, I shall turn a blind eye to that.

It has nothing to do with that, it's because we respect the artist.

There are other ways to get "free" mp3's, you know that and I know that... just don't use this messageboard for that.
So let's end this topic, and go 2 soulseek, there's everything for free, for those who like that :!:

Yes, sooner or later everything ends on Soulseek, but for free and LEGAL music, you don't need Soulseek. People have dowloaded from me tunes from the Sutemos and Autres Directions labels, which are two LEGAL AND FREE netlabels. So it would have been easier for them to go directly here:
http://www.sutemos.net for the two volumes of "Intelligent Toys" (great compilations for BOC fans)
or there:
http://www.autresdirections.net/inmusic/ for Melodium EPs, nice EP from Depth Affect, excellent Propergol y Colargol or the huge compilation -but not always friendly - "The Noise & the City" (including The Remote Viewer, Teamforest, Galaktlan, EU, Novel 23, Tim Koch, Pan American...). Easier and FASTER too.

Ok, now I'm going back to Soulseek looking for other fake Boards of Canada :P

What's the history on this Melody from Mars album?

See on Discogs. It's not a demo tape, it's an unreleased album. If i remember well, the first time a fan put this on line to download from his fansite, he quickly recieved a mail from Warp kindly asking him to remove the files... So Melodies on Mars ended on Napster, Audiogalaxy, Soulseek (and now Rapidshare & co  ).
In my humble opinion, the unreleased Analogue Bubblebath 5 is better than this one, but seems like every AFX fansites are down or under re-construction, so check Disocgs as usual...

Sun Ra and The Blues Project Do Batman and Robin
In 1966, a toy company in Newark, New Jersey released a children's record called Batman and Robin to cash in on the popular Adam West TV series of the same name. The music on the LP was credited to "The Sensational Guitars of Dan and Dale," but in fact the band was one of the greatest uncredited session combos of all time, including the core of Sun Ra's Arkestra and Al Kooper's Blues Project. To keep the music licensing fees to a minimum, all the tracks were based on public domain items like Chopin's Polonaise Op. 53, the horn theme from Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony and the love theme from Romeo and Juliet, and generic rock riffs. It's all instrumental, with the exception of Robin's Theme, featuring an uncredited vocalist.

Bravecaptain Distractions
distractions/bravecaptain's sixth album is a free download!
released 30 january 2006, distractions is bravecaptain's sixth album, and is available as a free download in wav and high quality mp3 formats.
http://www.bravecaptain.co.uk/
You need to register to get the files (register = subscribe to a mailing list). You can give a fake e-mail adress (it works), or you can try this link:
http://bravecaptain.com/distractions/downloads.php
Bravecaptain is Martin Carr, and Martin Carr is the ex-Boo Radleys mastermind (you know My Bloody Valentine? You heard "Loveless"? You know Slowdive? You heard "Souvlaki"? So you've got to know The Boo Radleys and you've got to hear "Everything's alright forever" or "Giant steps")
