i think it's pretty pointless to argue about this sort of thing. people obviously hold their opinions for a reason, it's unlikely that the reason they don't like it is that they haven't considered thinking it's awesome an option.

my 'no' list:

slow this bird down
alpha and omega
the devil is in the details
a is to b as b is to c
june 9th
zoetrope
telephasic workshop (sometimes)
rue the whirl - the looped melody bothers me to no end.
smokes quantity
basefree

basefree probably takes the cake as my least favorite BoC song.

wow, i agree what you said about the pointlessness of arguing and everything, but you've just listed a lot of my favourite boc tracks there- june 9th, zoetrope, telephasic workshop, and especially the mighty basefree- that's what I love about Boc in a nutshell

I didn't like Alpha and Omega, but when I was listening to Geogaddi last night, it was amazing. The bongos are awesome.

M9 is kinda meh for me. I'll listen to it once in a while, but I usually skip it when going through Boc Maxima.

I love that track. Reminds me of something from an 80's action movie.

Probably Triangles And Rhombuses, or A Moment of Clarity.
They don't feel all that needed.
Smokes Quantity is a bit monotonous, too.

than a tool... Campfire Headphase was a non event in terms of music history. Regardless of who it was made by.

But it's a great album! Tell me why you don't like it. Is it the guitars? The laid back feel? Because all of those things are pretty superficial, beneath it all, it's Boards of Canada, and good Boards of Canada at that.

Basefree

Sometimes I'm turned off of various MHTRTC tracks because of the harsh percussion, but sometimes I love it.

I Saw Drones, The Devil is in the Details, and A is to B as B is to C off of Geogaddi. It may just be the sequencing of those three disorienting tracks in a row. Just too far out there for too long. But they're followed by Over the Horizon Radar which is a good counter to those tracks.

Zoetrope's never done much for me.

I don't really like Chinook. There might be others but that's the first one that comes to mind
