Now when I hear Boc it sparks those memories. Some of their tracks bring back vivid visuals of when I was a child, which now seems like another lifetime. Sometimes I can't pick up the exact connection, but it's somewhere in my subconcious and brings me back to a warm, familiar place. Boc is the only artist that can make me want to cry tears of joy and sadness all at the same time. I always thought kids that grew up in the 70s and early 80s are the ones most deeply affected by their music.
Me two!

I don't know about you, but I seem to remember having a lot of "sick" days when I was a child.

Maybe they're afraid of your snappy comebacks D4VER
just kidding, the number of views isn't the same as the number of people viewing the thread, probably all of the people that have replied to this thread have come back to take a look at it a couple of times or more.
still, Derail was the only one that replied to my question so thanks Derail & boo to all the rest..

That is awesome we have people that range from 11 to 49 from all corners of the world. And we all share one common passion; the music of BOARDS OF CANADA.

im 27. if you say the word 'twenty' out loud over and over and over again, it eventually loses all meaning in your brain and starts to sound really weird. (...ok, psycho...

). i grew up in canada so i also watched pbs somes times and heard a lot of old synth noises at school watching educational board of canada films on projector. and BoC does remind me of another place and time in my life but i can never quite put my finger on it. i ve just come back from working in france for the last 4 weeks and only brought one minidisc out with me. it was terrible not having any BoC with me. and may i say the french are some of the most friendly people i have ever met. thx for your hospitality. and the ride home from the club that was in the middle of nowhere when i was off my face.

That's pretty damn cool. I wouldn't even be able to get a distant relative interested in BoC... they just don't know what they're missing... I did sneak OTHR in at my wedding though...
