I'm still not sure whether I fancy Trish Keenan or not.

Just bought it, WOW. Very Psychedelic indeed! Love the sampling! To Be Colony is great! I've loved Broadcast for a while now, I am pleased by this and I am seeing them in October.

how wonderful. House can do no wrong. I believe I shall purchase the CD edition of this release.

Have great fun at the show! I'm hoping to swing into Chicago in time for the performance but this seems unlikely.

OH! She is one turned on chick! I'd wager she throws the I-Ching and babbles a mysterious tounge to the rhythmic tumble of belly bongos. They don't make them like her anymore Tree! I would sweep the beads out of her flat if she asked.

Are they still based in Birmingham?
If so, I can get some serious stalking done. :D

Broadcast and The Focus Group - The Be Colony :

This is one of the best things i've seen in a long time !
The more I watch it the more I love it.
And I like this song more than anything i've heard so far of the Warp20 boxset, imo.

picking this up on the way home...i am actually mixing in some of these tracks on my halloween set this saturday....yummy. candy corns, fake blood in the mouth, spooky punch with too much liquor, crackling leaves under my feet, good friends, and a new broadcast album to mix. saturday will be a great day indeed.

sounds creepy! anyone going to blare "haunted" live analog synthesis with delay from the windows? adds total atmosphere for the trick or treater kids.

just got back from the LA show - SO GOOOD

They came out and melted the audience with about 10-15 mins of just some heavy noise/mindfuckery. You could tell the people who came to just see bradford (who was great as well) were tripping. Then some beats were triggered and it was time to get down. ahhhhhhh Trish's voice gets me :D. Oh and Vincent Gallo came to play guitar once and sang the encore song with Trish? We could have gotten another Broadcast song but he wanted to play something he had wrote, which sounded and looked like he got it together 5 mins before (they sang from some scraps of paper).

The video art was the best I've ever seen video coincide with music at a show. They were surely made and not found (for the most part) because they were absolutely perfect in timing & mood. And I point out that they were made/filmed because it was all super-8 and it must have been quite a job putting it together/experimenting to make some of that stuff. It was beautiful
