Milieu's comment got me interested, and it pretty much sums it all up.
I wish 2802 never ended. Its so beautifully bittersweet.

I would have stuck with just ambient if I were you.
I mean, you do it the best. Putting beats in it is like putting a fox among the chickens.
A polite and well mannered fox that would probably ask the chickens if he could eat them, but still a fox.
And before you all call me haters and evil and stuff, I LIKE IT.
Can't I just make comments on what I think needs improving?

I think it just came off as a little harsh since he wasn't claiming his work to be the best.

i think i love this release even more because its so simple and understated. like i said before, it meshes perfectly with standing heat and so the minimal approach pairs well with a lazy hot vibe, for me.
beyond that, compositionally speaking, the melodies and progression changes are absolutely perfect. nothing happens that doesn't need to. i could listen to this stuff all day.

Bang on. Loving this so much. It's just so restrained, but in a good way. Everything fits in it's own space and nothing seems added for the sake of it. Nice work
EDIT: where can I find your other work? This really is quite lovely...

I know it's not meant to be the best.

Been listening to this for a couple of days now - really excellent work! I love the moody atmospherics... and I'm hoping that this might be expanded into a full album release.

I'm bringing this back up because it's such a great release. A great album, I'm in love with Ancord Point right now, but the whole thing is a beautiful. And I love how it fits every season perfectly, a year round listen.

Bringing this up once again
This album along with your Track 53 album inspires me sooooo much. I find myself putting these two albums on all the time when I'm writing, and the words just flow out so much.
I forget if it's been mentioned, but are you releasing anything new soon? I'd love some more of this music!

Did you check out the Midmir release? It's a collab between me and Frank from Track53:

I had a chance to hear his new Arctier material live. It's some of the best bedroom electronica i've ever heard.

Aw, thanks guys. I'm having a shit day and this pepped me up. I'm always working on new material off and on. I'm going to get a solid collection of works together and release it on physical disc within the next two years or so but right now I'm just posting sketches occasionally on myspace.com/arctier . The stuff I'm making lately is much more texture oriented and I'm just working out in my head what I want to do with music at the moment.
I did recently however mix a collection of old unreleased/unfinished etc. track53 tunes and put them into a kind of 60 minute montage. Most of these songs were just files I had sitting around on my drive that were never finished or full length tracks that didn't find a home. I reckon this is a good time to put it up on Twoism...

lol I like being subtle. By the way to anyone who downloads it track 4 "emeirmar" does not have the track53 artist tag so you will have to fix that one, sorry bout that.
