The first minute is complete and utter beauty, but the rest of the track is just ok.Goiter Sanchez wrote:While I may not agree with you Neville, I sometimes DO find that the hype surrounding how 'amazing' EYDIAB is blown a little out of proportion. A great track, but certainly not their best in my opinion.
When you're not in the mood, "Zoetrope" is quite too long and gently boring (and yet, "In a beautif place" remains one of my favorite BOC Cds, don't ask why). Same mixed feelings with "The campfire headphase"'s last track ("Farewell fire", not the japanese edition bonus).Goiter Sanchez wrote:Zoetrope
I find it to be superficially really repetative and not terribly interesting. It is certainly unique in BoC's catalogue though
damn, that's one of my alltime favourite tracks... i love the title for starters (rule the world) and the hypnotic repetitive sound is just AWESOME. yeh definitely one my favourites.boardsofdublin wrote:i got one. "Rue The Whirl". great name for a track but my GOD!! its sooooo boring. it goes no where.hexagon son wrote:i love sandsings, and btw im fuckin l33t. i challenge anyone to name 1 bad BoC track. case closed.
peace (btw the danish cartoon was funny)
i have tried to listen and like it for about oh i dont know now, 8 Years and it just sucks! now there ya go i said it.
anyone else?
Sorry but in my opinion yr wrongsilo flame wrote:There is no such thing for me as the worst BOC track ever For me it's good or fantastic
...i could not agree more...out of every one of their tracks ever produced (that ive heard at least) each and every one keeps the near perfect standard of deepness beauty and melody..."chinook" just happens to be the only one that id say is almost noticably less than meeting their regular standard, if that makes sense..
That remark hurts my feelings.ryetronics wrote:Zeotrope has always made my head hurt.
Shame on you, rubbishhexagon son wrote:actually, heysanna hosanna is rubbish, but i dont believe that is just marcus and eion anyway. not trying to start any more arguments about that...
Amo Bishop Roden is a fantastic BoC track Ross Adey, grow upGoiter Sanchez wrote:I'd expected as much Ross, in particular considering that 'Twoism' shares a common vocal sample (andross adey wrote:i would have to say 'twoism' is one of my favourites. i've never liked 'amo bishop roden'
possibly percussive elements) with 'Spectrum'.
I'm with you again.Derail wrote:Shame on you!thedisavowed wrote:Wait. I stand corrected. I don't like "Chinook" at all. I listen to Gyroscope and (of course) Happy Cycling. But I NEVER listen to Chinook.
I could'nt agree more.ryetronics wrote:Amo Bishop Roden is absolutely brilliant. It's just too bad it's followed up by Zeotrope, which just drags for me.
