Man-Flu. Myth, or fact?

Yup. Us blokes just get it worse than the fairer sex. 100% scientifically proven FACT. Honest.

This is all good stuff, although The Machinist had me eating pies afterwards just in case I ever ended up looking like Christian Bale's character. Yikes!
Lol - yeah, I know what you mean! Apparently he got down to 120lbs and wanted to go to 100lbs but the studio stopped him. For four months he subsisted on 1x cup of tea and 1x apple a day. Brutal.

Whatever you topheavy land-whales! I've been 125 lbs since high school and I'm fit as a fiddle.

But I've had a man cold since last Friday. Practically keeled over and died during my grant proposal presentation on Monday morning. The people in that classroom looked at me like I was death his own self.

Come on then - man hug! Not really.

Mine has taken an interesting turn today. Cold has pretty much gone so decided to drag my sorry arse back to work. Got half way to work and had to pull the car over. I've never taken LSD, but I'd like to think it feels something similar. The feckin World starting moving, turning, ducking and diving. Got to work eventually, but they basically sent me home as I looked like something someone had dug up.

Doc says I have some sort of ear problem/infection from the virus/cold I had. My balance is totally shot to pieces, which means I have to sit still and basically do as little as possible apart from play Xbox, watch TV, eat and check the net. I think I am in heaven. Only downer is the tablets she put me on mean I can't drink at all. Bummer..

What is it about New Year and bugs? 3 years ago this night...Norovirus. Last year, flu. Now - I have a tickle in my throat and I know that man-flu is peering around the corner. This is so shit. Why TONIGHT?

Still going out. Fukitall. My and my man flu virus are going to be playing cat and mouse until the early hours.
I'll see you when the sun sets east, don't forget me.
